Small town hardware store with a surprisingly diverse selection. The folks that work here are the kind of helpful and friendly folks that you just don't run into very often. Can't recommend it strongly enough.
Great local team from managers to knowledgeable sales staff. They are friendly, patient to help problem solve & go out of their way to help people in the community. Also competitively priced with bigger stores, like home depot in Montrose, which saves a lot of driving & frustration! Very much unlike many other local businesses in town! Ridgway Hardware store is a great place to shop awesome staff everyone is extremely nice and extremely helpful if something is not right they will definitely do their best to make the corrections at the satisfaction of their customers. I now shop there all the time Because of the location and the convenience of being in town saves me a trip to Montrose lol. Prices are very reasonable good quality paint and good quality tools like dewalt and Makita etc. The easy care brand paint is a great product I’ve used it on multiple jobsites and locations around Ouray, Ridgway and Telluride. Steven is a great guy and so is Richard there always sending work my way from locals looking for services. The great thing about small town businesses is that everyone knows everyone and you get greeted with a smile and a good morning and a have a nice day every time you enter or leave.
I went in to the store yesterday looking for a computer cord. They didn't have one but the owner went back into a storage area and started looking through boxes to see if he could find one. Over and beyond and greatly appreciated!
Love shopping at True Value Ridgway! I'm always greeted and asked if I need help which I usually do. Everyone I've encountered is always knowledgable, kind and go above and beyond to assist. Today, the kind associate even carried out the bag of snow melt to my car since I'm pregnant. Thank you guys for being so stellar!
