My favorite hardware store by far. Everything that big box stores have but the customer service is excellent. I am a DIY home-improvement guy and when I don’t have knowledge about things, John always schools me and I’m able to do it myself.

It’s amazing how many unique products that this place carries. Always someone well verse to assist you when you come into the store. NEVER had a bad experience - many times I tell them my dilemma and they have the answers. Forget those big inconsiderate chain stores. This is my neighborhood sensitive to my needs store!

I had a person install a drain under kitchen sink. For 2 years it leaked off and on where I had a container to catch the water. 2 days ago the part under the drain was flooded with water. John the owner told me how to fix it. A man came out and fixed it in 10 minutes. The previous person put the wrong size trap on. SO GLAD I CALLED TRUE VALUE Maple Hts

This is my local hardware shop. I go here a lot to get items that I can’t get from Home Depot but I prefer to go here. The staff an owner are very knowledgeable and helpful with trying to fix problems you have I would’ve recently purchased a light fixture for my front porch, I broke one of the glass pieces how about a light fixture while cleaning I had extra piece glass at home from the old fixture. Took that piece to the hardware store, cut it out to fit the size. The owner took my piece, cut it out, asked how much he charged. He said nothing but a thank you and smile which made my day. Little things like this that you don’t get at the big box stores.

Thank you John, I was having trouble placing my window back in track. I returned to the store and John was very helpful with coming out and putting the window back in for me. He to struggled for a bit . But in the end it went in the tracks. Thank you again for going the extra mile. The window looks great.

This place has really great customer service, the ladies are great, helpful, and caring. She even baught me a pop from the machine because I had no money except a credit card. The place is very clean and neat, warm and friendly. I provided photos.

Let's start by entering the store friendly staff always greeting customer's with a hello and a smile. I purchased 2 awesome antique/rustic looking statues... I had this BRIGHT IDEA oh I could make 2 saving banks for me and my sister....they needed a quarter slot cut on top, plexiglass cut and glued to the bottom as well as the front of them so the quarters would not come out I asked John and he said he could do it right then and there if I had a minute and of course I did smile as promised he got to work cutting, filing and gluing Thanks John... Great neighborhood hardware store True Value Maple Hts.

This is the most helpful hardware store I've ever been to. No more box stores for me. Not only can they figure out what I need they actually take the time to explain to me how I can do it. Jeff helped me with a plumbing project. I know nothing about Plumbing. But with Jeff's help I was able to do it. Jeff could have sold me a lot more than he did. He really wanted to help me fix my problem without spending a fortune.

Vest services I've had in my life. These young employees went above any beyond to help locate everything I've asked for with no problem and a smile. They are truly the ideal template for what customer service should be! Thank you!

MHH did an excellent job cleaning out our basement drain. They are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. And we couldn’t beat the price. Special thanks to John!
