Absolute finest dining in the area! While I can't afford to eat here often, it's a place we go to celebrate our anniversary every year. After eating in many really nice restaurants in the area, the TS Steakhouse elevates "fancy" to another level.. I mean how often is your table "scraped" of crumbs at other places? How often do you go to the bathroom and come back to the table to find your napkin folded on your chair? That's what I thought... The servers are the best in the area, attentive and professional! Then there's the food...wow! Everything is expertly prepared and delicious. The meats are of the finest quality and handled as such. Yes, it's pricey...but why not treat yourself! Like I said, I can't do it often, but I look forward to it every year!
Tuna and Bone Marrow were fantastic, the drinks were made well too. They were missing quite a few things that were on the menu. They pace the meal pretty well, so your food is never just cluttered on table, will return again in future. Returned twice since this and the food is just so great everytime. Top Notch!
Simply the best restaurant and staff in upstate NY! Food prep was perfect, flavor is extraordinary and staff are top notch. This is a real treat and you owe yourself the reward. Chef Wells is outstanding.Food: 5/5
Visited TS Steakhouse for my 30th birthday while visiting the Syracuse area to see family on June 21st. First off, the food was a little better than average but not totally worth the money. I’m from Florida and I’m okay with paying $50-$100 just for the steak alone when it makes sense but here I just didn’t see the value. For 3 people it came up to $300 and just didn’t feel like a $300 steak dinner. The service itself was great as they made sure to keep an eye on the table and come over and assist. As far as the atmosphere is concerned, I was shocked and felt embarrassed I had gone to this type of restaurant for my 30th birthday as it was expected to be upscale and business casual attire. We saw multiple people in there wearing shorts, a few had sandals and we even saw one person just wearing a T-shirt. While I haven’t experienced a lot of steakhouses in the Syracuse area, I wouldn’t return because of the lack of expectations when it comes to attire and the fact that I didn’t feel like the value was there. Overall 4/5 stars but not worth going to again.
Not a bad casino steak house. Usually the one thing a casino gets right all the way around. The steaks were good, service was pleasant . The view was great. You'll spend a couple hundred per couple...but worth it. Save a few bucks and make a reservation. You should eat here if you can.Food: 4/5
The food was really good, except for the steak was disgusting cold and overcooked. The AMBIANCE was DELIGHTFUL, it was worth the long travel from La Paz, México, I will definitely plan on coming back in the near future.Food: 3/5
We celebrated our Anniversary and we received top notch service. We couldn't be more pleased!Food: 5/5
Third time at TS, courtesy of our daughters, and as previously, an exceptional meal. Had incredible service and delicate and delicious filet mignons as well as loaded baked potato and maple glazed Brussels sprouts. One potato is more than enough for two. Sides are ala carte. Also sampled artisanal cheese board with nice variety. Yes, it is pricey, but for a special occasion and great views, highly recommend.
This place is magical. I went in a for quick bite and i got more than I bargained for. My cosmo drink was an interactive experience that you must indulge in. The food presentation is amazing, the taste is flavorful using high quality ingredients and the the aromas were unforgettable. I must say the onion soup was the best I have ever had. Not to mention the decor of the place feels royal and lush. Please add this place to your bucket list!!
The food is NOT worth the price. The surf & turf is listed on the menu as simply “surf & turf - MARKET.” There is *NO* explanation of what type of surf or turf is served. It ended up being a $145 plate of a generic filet mignon & a whole, tough, bland, overcooked small lobster—no sides included. The $45 lobster mac n’ cheese no sides had a small lobster claw meat on top but otherwise had only the very tiniest pieces of lobster in it. The cheese sauce was bland. Additionally, we sat in the large bar side of the venue & the acoustics were so terrible that as soon as the pianist started performing everyone in the room started yelling just to be able to hear each other from 2ft across the table. We went onto the balcony with our drinks so we could have a more relaxed conversation—but they wouldn’t allow anybody to eat out on the balcony tables. We paid $145 for a single plate & couldn’t eat it in peace on the balcony?? The cherry on top is that before we went outside we’d *asked* our waitress if we could eat out there & we both thought she said “we can do service on the balcony,” which goes to show that the acoustics were so terrible that with the pianist playing nobody could hear each other. UGH!!
