It's a hardware store but it has tourist souvenirs like masks, beads and other Mardi Gras essentials. Store has deer heads and other critters as part of the store's decor. Neat place to look around.
I have always been greeted at the front door with a smiling face and when I need help they take me right to what I am looking for. Tubbs has been the place to find internal parts of old facets when the big box store don't have them. The rental equipment is in good shape and the process has always been easy. In particular, the auger I used looked almost new, started easy every time and saved me hours of work. It's a great all around hardware store.
Wonderful people. Always helpful and friendly. Also, not only good for Cajun food and souvenirs, but odd hardware items are likely to be found especially when Home Depot and Lowes don’t carry it. Keep up the great work…love you guys!
I travel a lot for work. As a fun reminder of where I've been, I always try to grab a small sticker or magnet before I leave. In 5 days in Shreveport I never did find a place that sold something like this. I assumed I'd have to get something at the airport if they were open before my red-eye. Lucky for me, at about 5:30pm on my last day I decided to drive around to see if I'd get lucky. I just so happened to drive past a Tubb's sign stating they have authentic Louisiana gifts! I thought that was strange for a hardware store but no biggie. I got to the store at 5:50, just 10 minutes until closing. When I walked in I was greeted by a polite older guy asking if he could help me find anything. I told him I just needed to pick something up to prove I was here! I found exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Tubb's for seemingly being the only place that is proud to be in Shreveport, LA!
Tubbs is a great place for just about everything! If you’re looking for local Cajun souvenirs, or need a replacement part for your lawn mower; this is the place for you. Their King Cake is really good! They also have a selection of other foods and Mardi Gras supplies. The staff are friendly and are always willing to help. It’s also family owned and operated.
Nice place. You can get hardware and souvenirs. There is plenty of Louisiana flare for locals too. We enjoyed our walk through. Bought a few things for some out of town family... And a few things for ourselves..
Mr. Tubes is an excellent man who is fair and honest. Has a super wide variety, and amazing King Cakes. Future buissness will be done w/ Tubes. Keep up the great work folks!
My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Tubbs hardware. We had a chance to meet Don who was so kind. This is a great place to stop at, they have much more than hardware. My favorite thing we took home was the bbq sauce
Came here to buy a king cake, and they did not disappoint! The staff is so kind and immediately checked on us. Looks of really cool things to look at!!
Great place to get just about anything you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. I rented a walk behind brush cutter and the experience was great. Places like this are few and far between. Buy local.
