Tucker's Big Bear Lodge a four season get away....
Big Bear Lodge is located in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate, New York and was founded in 2006. It was always my dream to have a Log Home in the Mountains where I could go to Hunt, Fish, Ride ATV's, Snowmobiles, Relax and enjoy all of God's Creation. I enjoy having folks come stay and share the experience of the Mountain Life. We are a four season Lodge, and with every season comes different Outdoor activities. Starting with Winter we bring you the Amazing Upstate NY Snowmobile season. There are over 500 miles of groomed trails in Herkimer County alone, many times our sled rides take us through at least 3 different counties of snow covered Adirondack wilderness. Spring brings a whole array of great outdoor activities from Kayaking to Fishing and Turkey Hunting the whole month of May. Leading into Summer we run into a season called the Black fly season which lasts about the month of June. With summer comes the Fourth of July where I love to go to Old Forge to watch the most glorious fireworks display on earth and celebrate our great countries birthday. Summer also brings with it lots of ATVing, fishing, kayaking and campfires to roast marshmellows by and just plain relax. At Big Bear Lodge there also is lots of gun shooting, we strongly believe in our 2nd amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Fall brings with it my favorite time of the year. Hunting Season!!!!!! During this time of the year we are usually off chasing the Whitetail deer or Black bear, the surrounding mountains are the home of these majestic creatures and provide lots of recreation and if successful in the hunt lots of pure food. Autumn also brings on the beautiful leaf peeper season with marvelous color changes where you can enjoy all the red, orange and yellows of the Adirondack Mountains. This time of year also brings crisp mountain air that fills your nostrils with the scent of Balsam trees. Warm fires warm the sole as we all await the arrival of the Adirondack Winter with lots of White Gold ushering in the Christmas season to start the cycle all over again.....
