Tukwila International Boulevard is a light rail station in Tukwila, Washington, United States. It lies between SeaTac/Airport and Rainier Beach stations on the Central Link line from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport to Downtown Seattle. The station consists of two elevated side platforms enclosed in a structure northeast of the interchange of State Route 99 (International Boulevard) and State Route 518. As one of two park and rides along the line, it includes 662 parking spaces in three lots.Tukwila International Boulevard station opened on July 18, 2009, on the first day of Central Link service, and was the line's terminus until SeaTac/Airport station opened in December 2009. Construction of the station was approved in 1996, but did not begin until 2005 due to routing disputes and planning issues. Trains serve the station twenty hours a day on most days; the headway between trains is six minutes during peak periods, with less frequent service at other times. Tukwila International Boulevard station is also served by King County Metro buses, including two RapidRide limited-stop bus rapid transit routes, that connect it to Downtown Seattle, West Seattle, and areas in southern King County.

The station is clean, spacious, and modern. When departing from this station, you can take many buses to get in and out the town. Also, this station is quite close to the Southcenter Mall which makes it convenient to visit. There are many automatic ticket machines along the station. I love how the Seattle Transportation Department constructs the station with many arts and green trees and flowers, which makes me very comfortable while waiting for trains.

I have nothing against the authorities, they are doing their best but be careful when you park your car here, especially when you park it across the street near the G zone. My car got broken into and they stole an apple carplay device I installed on the dashboard. It feels ridiculous that someone can vandalize your car and steal something that you worked so hard for and you can’t do anything about it. There are cameras everywhere but after talking to a cop, I don’t believe that will achieve anything. Be safe. Times are tough and I hope no one has to go through what I am.

Would not like to be here when it’s dark. Very sketchy area, they did have security guards about the place but was glad to leave.

20dec2021 MON morning, at the Sound Transit University of Washington station, took the South-bound 1-Line to arrive at ~10:30 Tukwila Int't Blvd station.  Light drizzle and chilly ~30s-F when i got in Tukwila Int'l Blvd station. Took the stairs down to the Ground Floor, and a short ~50 ft walk to transfer to the RapidRide bus for my ride home.  For my this morning travels on all  the a.m. Public Transit Services; including 1-Line, RapidRide, Metro Buses and Facilities ..  they were all superb  And thank y'all for the job well done!

Great parking at this Light Rail station.  Enjoyed the helpful security. We had ease of access to downtown Seattle, with senior priced passes. Secured our day passes and we were ready for a day's excursion. The stops are all well identified for us first time users. This is definitely the way to see downtown Seattle.

It's a train station.  Trains come here and you can get on them, or don't I don't care what am I the train police?

Fun atmosphere. Easy access to the airport! Or to Seattle... Take your pick. This place is a great win. Even though there is overflow parking across the street, it's still hard to find open spots. Plan to arrive early. Also, No overnight parking. No joke, You will be towed.

Sound transit security have some weird priorities here. Homeless people camping out? Not a problem. Someone running around trying to harass people for no reason? Meh, I'll ask if they're OK afterwards. Someone riding a bike towards the elevator? GET OFF! DO NOT RIDE HERE! WALK IT!

Pretty much no parking is ever available for you to try to commute to work from. I tried angle lake as well, also very limited parking. I'm not sure how they expect people to commute if you can't even get to the station. Also, there are a ton of really rude people in the area.. I don't enjoy having strangers shout innapropriate comments at me while I'm literally just walking by minding my own business quietly. I know it's not the stations fault, but I just don't feel safe in this area.
