Aquatic Center so much better than the Parkwood Pool in Great Neck, plus it's open year round. Very focused on the safety and wellbeing of patrons. Very clean, and well maintained. Offers yearly admission for Town of North Hempstead residents. Lap lanes can get crowded on the weekends so it's best to come in the morning if you are a weekend warrior.
There is Wasps under the slides in kids park. Me and my dad was looking for park authority but we were unable to find someone to notify. Hope this review reaches respected authorities.
Great park to spend the day with your dog. There are some unfriendly guests who like to self patrol to see if you're a resident but don't worry this is a completely public park.
Nice park w some extra rec courts. Nice lil nature to walk through, and a decent bit of odd graffiti.
Brought our little doggie to the dogpark here. The dogpark is actually the only decently maintained area in this park. The Town of North Hempstead should be ashamed at the neglect of this public park!! The taxes we pay living in this area are most definitely not being used to refurbish nor maintain this place!! Not to be believed!! How are they getting away with leaving this in such shabby condition??!! Terrible!!
Not big park but still pretty good. It has dog park, playground, soccer courts and indoor pool for residents. Lake is close but no access.
Excellent dog park. Designed so well with artificial grass and water fountains. It looks like it's been newly set up. Playgrounds. Bathrooms. Tracks. Tennis Courts.
Parks is in dire need of improvement. Aged. Turf field I past its turfability age should be replaced. It is dangerous to safely use it. Parking lot is super uneven with valleys. Whole place settled and all places you want to go to are in the ditch and after a rain full if water. To enter the field you need to jump over higher water to lover water to go in. Would be wise to spend money to improve this facility. It is a big place that people use.
Great people working there, very nice and informative. Nice clean pool, track and field.
It was great- many activities for everyone young and old, great for walks jogging running , but we do need water fountains that have water. Our dog needs water in the warm weather.
