Staff was amazing - Candice was very helpful and knowledgeable. The creek is beautiful; fishing is allowed. We loved our stay at Turkey Creek; it is very close to Branson. My only complaint would be the road needs more gravel as it was quite dusty our truck and motorcycles were covered in dust and the water pressure was low. We had full hookups and a pull thru so the price was a bit higher than expected $31.50 daily rate. We stayed 2 weeks but needed to move in the middle. The first site G9 was next to the creek - gorgeous! The 2nd site D8 was very difficult to get our 43' 5th-wheel into, but my husband did a great job getting between a short fence and a stump. Overall, we want to come back.
It was a run down and tired looking park. The clubhouse was nice. We had fhus. Was a busy road and hard to get in and out with traffic. Price was good. On a river. Sites were tight and we were back to back. No place to park the truck except in overflow camping. Bathrooms looked ok.
It has full hook ups with good power. Not much wifi, but excellent location for visiting Branson. Campground is on the lake and is just across the bridge from downtown Branson.
The folks that work here are very nice. We stayed a week in May 2018. The park is pretty no frills. It does have a dog park, large enough, but no shade. The laundry was sufficient and clean. The showers were nice. It is on the lake if you want to fish, kayak, boat. There is a boat ramp. Verizon cell service is good here.
Love this campground. This has been our first time here but will return. The owners are very friendly and responsive to any requests. The location is close to Branson and the national park.
Escapee member park, but open to the public. Gravel sites, some pull through. Laundry and showers, no cable and poor wifi, but Verizon signal is strong so internet with jetpack is good. Hard to get TV here as we are by the creek down in a hole even though stations are just 8 miles away. Sites are close, concrete patio with picnic table. Jam session in the clubhouse every Friday night. Quick 3 minutes to downtown Branson for shops and restaurants.
Loved this great park! Our camp host Jane, was amazing. Right on the lake with free fishing and within just a few minutes of Branson, MO. We initially were staying only a week, but loved the park and the area so much we stayed 19 days. 30 or 50amp full hookups, trash dumpsters were never full, didn’t use bathrooms or laundry, but the clubhouse was immaculate. Nice level gravel sites with lots of grass in between. Highly recommend staying here!
Lots of big shade trees. Very much needed on the past 2 extremely hot Missouri days. Friendly and helpful check in person. I highly recommend. Quiet group of campers and no loud dogs. A mile or so from Branson Missouri.
I have been at Turkey Creek for several weeks now; as such, I believe I finally can give it an accurate and objective review. I am really enjoying my time here for a number of reasons. The park itself is layed out well, which provides for some room between you and your fellow campers. Each site has water, electric, and sewer available, as well as a concrete pad and picnic table. There are restroom, shower, and laundry facilities on site. A very nice clubhouse is open 7 days a week, with a lounging area and plenty of books and videos that can be borrowed. A small dog run is available to exercise pets, and a nice path alongside the creek makes for a pleasant stroll. There is even a boat launch in the creek for use. Jane and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They keep the facilities very clean, and are available if a problem arises. Recently, they prepared a delicious Thanksgiving Day meal for the entire place...turkey and all the fixings. It was great! There are a few small issues that need to be addressed - a couple sites have a slight incline, and some concrete pads and light posts could use repair - but overall this is a really well maintained RV park. Both short-term and long-term stays are available, and the rental fees are pretty reasonable. Branson and Hollister provide access to anything one might need. Having driven through a few other RV parks in the area, I am pleased that I ended up at Turkey Creek.
Great place with super hosts. They had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. We chose to eat with them instead of cooking and we were so glad we did. The food was home-cooked and excellent. And all you could eat! Our favorite campground in Branson!
