Been going for years . And last 2 visits have went down hill. One time waited a hour for our food which is great when we got ..couldn't even get a drink in that time. Last time there Sat in bar and service was a little faster but this time the 2 pieces of fish was more like nuggets ...

If you’re looking for a random spot with good fish stop here. A few things you should know; it’s not a very big place, on the weekends it’s probably the busiest, from what I could tell there is one waitress. So go in knowing it might take a little bit. For us it wasn’t a big deal. I got the 4 piece fish dinner which comes with a salad, roll, and choice of one side. The salad pictured is the house salad with their house dressing, I’m not sure how to explain their dressing but it was good! Fish was excellent way more than what I needed. I could have gotten away with ordering the 2 piece meal. I would recommend stopping in and giving it a try if you’re looking for a good fish dinner!

Drove almost an hour twice from Battle creek, MI. Just to have their famous fish dishes. A must try if you're in the area. I love their home made tartar sauce. Almost tempted to take it home. Lol Food: 5/5

The burgers were AWESOME!!! Hubby had a regular cheeseburger with fries, and I had a mushroom and Swiss burger with fried mushrooms to make a basket... I kinda like mushrooms, lol. Oh, and the sandwich had sautéed onions on it as well, which I usually have to ask and pay for separately in most places. The service was friendly and the food was prepared quickly! I look forward to visiting again soon. Parking: Parking is available on both sides of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access at the back entrance. There are signs.

We were very disappointed in the meal last night. Spent 60.00 and we got sick. The fish tasted nasty not anything like it tasted a few years ago.. The grease they used should have been changed. We won’t be back ever again. The place itself looks so dirty, especially the entrance door. Can u imagine all the germs on that door. Why don’t you wash it down and paint it . New owners are doing a great job, with the quality of food, they are putting out, the best food in years from this tavern. Keep it up please so many bad meals from here in the past. Worth for anyone to try or try again!
