Description

Visited Turner Field to view the Hank Aaron statue outside of the main gates. Unfortunately an overweight elderly women who appeared to work here, exited the stadium yelling YOU DON’T BELONG HERE…LEAVE. This was a clear attack of prejudice nature, and I left immediately to diffuse the situation. Sad that this is what has become of this historic sporting Cathedral.
My first baseball game and I loved it! The women, the food, girls, desserts, females, the Braves last but the women, goodness! Great atmosphere, nice weather, horrible traffic after any event. Scalpers teeing to sell us tickets even though they just saw us buy ours, annoying! Great views, walked all over, expensive gift shop, I still bought a tank top. Friendly crowd, cool event staff. Lots of laughs! Highly recommend but the stadium will shutter after this season, this is the Braves final year playing there. I don't know a lick about baseball but I thoroughly enjoyed myself, see ya next year!
No longer a baseball venue. The stadium has been converted to a college football stadium and the retrofit turned out very nice. We visited for a high school football event so everything wasn't open such as concessions etc. although they did have some concessions available, they weren't totally ready I think.
The conversion of this stadium is fantastic! I was very impressed when I attended a game at the stadium during the Corky Bell Classic. This is going to be a great place for Georgia State University to play football!
If they did not close it, this would be a five-star experience. This is one of the most interactive ballparks I have ever seen. You could quite possibly visit for a game and watch no possible before you realize the game has ended. This really was a classic place to go.
Love this park. My dad took me to Atlanta Fulton County Stadium as a kid to see the Braves and Falcons play. I was not sad to see it go because it was not a good place to watch a game. I was at Turner Field on opening weekend many years ago and fortunate enough to visit during the Braves final season here. Sad to see the Braves move on but hopefully the city will find a good use for the park to keep it going.
Awesome new experience with now being a football stadium. Georgia State did a good job transitioning the building.
This was a great place to watch baseball when I was younger. The Braves did an exceptional job transforming this place from an Olympic stadium Centennial Olympic Stadium to awesome baseball experience Turner Field. To me, this is pretty much what a ballpark is supposed to look and be like. I'll miss this place dearly, no matter what kind of facility replaced "The Ted."
Beautiful stadium. So glad Georgia State University saved it. Can't wait to see the rest of their plans for the properly
I mean the place is on its last days and you can tell. Still had a nice time watching the Mets beat the Braves.
