Nice place to stay a night or two if your in the area, but be warned it's not a peaceful setting. There a busy railroad track right across the state hwy and a rock quarry over the railroad tracks. Makes it rather annoying to try to relax between the trains and the hwy traffic. At night the quarry makes quite a bit of noise too.
Me and my fiancé have lived here for a little over a year now. Before ultimately choosing Tuscumbia Rv Park as our next home, we visited various other parks around the area. All of them fell short in comparison! We’ve had nothing but a positive experience here so far, and most everyone we’ve met is friendly and helpful. We also feel very safe here. The owners of the RV park are very friendly, down to earth individuals. Willing to go above and beyond their duty to ensure you have a positive experience while staying here. We are very grateful for the kindness they have shown to the both of us and for making us feel as though we are family. I highly recommend!
Mr. Ronnie and Ms. Denise are wonderful! Very accommodating and the park is well cared for. Laundry and showers are well maintained. Others guests in park seem very friendly and it is a very relaxing atmosphere. We love it here and are so glad we chose this spot for our temporary home away from home! If you in need of a place to stay short or long term this is your best bet. You feel like family from day one!
Stayed for 2 nights with wife & 6 month Dalmatian. We are full time travelers/union millwright at power plants. Very clean, quiet, nice management, and Muscle Shoals, with its food, & good music is within 15 minutes away!
4 lane highway approx 100' away. Semis running 70mph. Railroad track approx 300' away. There are several crossings close to this park so the trains6-7 per night blow their horn multiple times. Other than that, owners are extremely nice. Campgrounds are clean, laundry room and showers/bathrooms very well kept. There are places to walk dogs. The road beside and behind has virtually no traffic.
The people and owners of the park are great! We had a host of issues come up with our new rig and 'Duck' our neighbor plus the owner came through to help us without hesitation. Highly recommend this park or any long or short term stays
Had a great time hanging with my cuz and Chass! We grilled steaks and corn on cob and sweet potatoes. . So glad we finally got to come hang out with you guys! Love y'all bunches!
Very accommodating to us from our move from Michigan to Alabama. Quiet campground except the train which didn’t bother us a bit! Everyone is friendly, laundry/showers are clean. Very convenient to have the laundry room. Has small playground but better for bigger kids probably 5 or older. Would definitely stay here again. Very reasonable monthly rate.
Tuscumbia RV Park is a fantastic park! It is so well maintained!! Such a beautiful place to stay for the night or for months. We were welcomed with open arms!! Ronnie and Denise treat everyone like family!
Hidden Gem - In Plain Sight We traveled to Muscle Shoals to visit all the recording studios and guess what? This campground is just several miles from the Alabama Music Hall of Fame: How perfect was that? We found this travel park has everything one needs for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The laundry room, nice and clean, 50 amp hookups, pulled right into our spot - what's not to love? There's a lot of full time residents there so there's not a lot of that transient in and out like us and added bonuses they have a communal firepit that you can gather around for story swapping they'd probably join in for a rousing rendition of "Kumbaya"}, which brings me to another point. One of the full timers brings out his guitar occasionally and just strums and sings very enjoyable. Ron, the owner, I think, maybe manager, doesn't matter, was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend you stay here if you're in the area. I promise you won't regret it!
