We've been using Tutor Doctor since the beginning of the Autumn term to compliment our Daughter's learning for Maths and English in her final year of GCSEs. We didn't really know what we wanted when we were first looking into getting a Tutor so having the opportunity of a free Consultation with Laura before committing to anything was really useful. The consultation itself made us think about so much more beyond just trying to get hold of a specific Tutor. We talked about what techniques and environments our daughter preferred and what we were aiming for. We then came to an arrangement where we would trial both an English and a Maths Tutor and see how we, and the Tutors, got on. Laura chose 2 Tutors based on our daughter's responses and goals. Neil for Maths and Sacha for English. Our daughter has engaged so well with both of them. She's really developed her confidence in both subjects as well as learning some really useful exam techniques in English and revising and re-learning content she's highlighted as wanting to improve upon in Maths. After each Tutor session I receive an email with detail on how the session went and any recommendations for what to do between sessions, which is nice to be able to talk over with our daughter. In our experience, we would highly recommend using Tutor Doctor as Laura has been able to consider an appropriate Tutor / Student match that we might not otherwise have had the opportunity to do.
Tutor doctor supplied my daughter with tutors for Physics and Chemistry whilst she was studying for her A Levels. The matching of tutors was perfect and Laura was extremely helpful in finding the right candidates for my daughter. Both tutors were very confident and spent time in the areas my daughter required extra help. A great company and set up.
Tutor Doctor linked us with Roy to tutor my son for A-Level Economics. Roy quickly and accurately assessed where work was needed and worked intensively developing analysis and essay technique. He was clear, supportive and honest and developed the necessary skill set within the time frame we had to work with. His knowledge and ability to share that knowledge helped develop confidence and understanding of how to succeed in the exam. His easy manner put both myself and my son at ease and reassured us that our goal could be achieved. We are very grateful that we had Roy to help in a really stressful time and would like to thank both Roy and Tutor Doctor for their hard work.
We are having an excellent experience with Tutor Doctor. Laura matched my daughter up with Edward McCready to help her with revision and exam technique face to face and he has been a wonderful tutor to my daughter, she is determined to do well in A levels so that she can study history at the university of her choice, and Edward is instrumental in enabling this to hopefully happen. I couldn't thank Edward and Laura enough.
Hi my name is Raul Ramakrishnan I had Mrs Sacha carol for 8 months. She has taught me English as my English was extremely weak at the time but she stood and assess the situation to see how to teach me knowing I had dyslexia which is a challenge but in two months of having her I achieved in my mocks a grade 6 which is 3 grade higher than what I was achieving I am so grateful for tutor doctors for having the best teacher possible and making the tutor make the students feel comfortable with them. Thank you mrs for the last 8 months you have been one of the best tutor I have ever had.

We have found Ryan to be a really friendly and fantastic tutor for our son. Our child wasn’t liking the idea of a tutor but since having Ryan, his confidence has grown. Considering he doesn’t like school much, this is testament to Ryans patience and engaging manner as he looks forward to his sessions and is eager to learn. Ryan understands how to adapt his tutoring style for our child and always works together with him to go through what our child has struggled with at school or what he wants to work on at the next session. I can’t recommend tutor doctor or Ryan enough.
