My 6 year old son and I were in here today. The person working was extremely helpful and told my son some stories about the coin he recommended getting that was in our small budget. My son is so excited. It made his whole day and probably month. My son said he would give him 100 stars and looks forward to going back to hear more stories. The stories about old and rare coins are what he loves the most. We had been to several coin stores before this one, with no luck. This guy knew exactly what we were looking for and then some.
I went to the Truman Company yesterday and was helped by Ben. He was patient, knowledgeable and efficient in going through the items I brought in and I left feeling very happy I made the trip. Great customer service and I received a very fair price. I will be back in the future! Thank you Ben and Truman Company!
Evan is a consummate professional. I ordered 5 canadian 80% silver dollars from him and was surprised when one was a centennial and also one proof. Best prices on the internet. I made the drive from Northern Suburbs to trade in my mom/grandmas silver and silver plate utensils. I was excited when we found some that were sterling! At first he offered $68 for the sterling and $27 for the plate but when he gave me the cash and receipt it was only $40 for sterling and $27 for plate =$67. I asked and the Lady there helping another person said recalled what he said. He reweighed it gave me another $14 but without the receipt this time. when I got home I realized that I got taken, I only had $81 of the $95 he should have given me. I got the feeling a few times he might struggle a bit when he kept asking the girl for help with weights/ pricing and such but I brushed it off because he was an old timer and I really wanted to like him. I feel bad I left my other silver-plating there and wish I would have done more research on it..I was looking for the money to make rent and pay my gas to get there, which it barely did just that. I would rather have a better feeling about the transaction than the money now. I guess you just cant trust anyone these days anymore : On a lighter note. He did pay me on $2 bills my son is autistic and really enjoys different currency Hope this helps someone else who brings silver in- Do your research and See the girl instead!

First off let me say that I live well over an hour drive from TCGS. With that said this place is completely legit, Evan is highly educated and very willing to answer any questions even dumb ones by no nothing first time buyer like me.
