I had an outstanding experience with Twin City Outdoor equipment. Jeff and his team were knowledgeable, well equipped, and eager to repair my equipment. Price was as discussed and the service was excellent. Thank you for your great service.
I dropped off my Stijl weed eater to be repaired on July 10, 2023. I asked how long it would take and the service dept. Employee told me he did not know and that you would text me when it was finished. On July 24 I called service and asked if it was done yet. I was told “ did we text you?” I answered no. He then said “ if we didn’t text you, it’s not done”. I waited till Aug. 1 and called service again. I received the same answer. On Aug 14 I drove up to the business and asked if it was done. I was asked if I had been texted and I said no. This man asked me what name it was under. I told him. He said “ it’s done, $59.00. I said great, how long has it been done? He said he did not know and that will be $59.00 I paid, looked at my receipt and it’s been done since July 20. What a shame. Poor communication, poor attitude by service employees and not even an apology. Y’all need to do better!
Would highly recommend. They pickup and drop off for service which is a huge plus. I knew there was an issue with one of my spindles so I left a note on it when I left it out for pickup. They called and let me know what the issue was, what they were doing, and about how long it would take. It was dropped back off right when I expected and the bill was exactly what they told me it would be when they called about the spindle.
My wife purchased a black special edition Gravely for me from Twin City in spring 2022 and it was delivered to us. I mow over three acres in 1-1/2 hours. But the mower belt has broken two times and the belt has slipped off two other times the latest 8/3/23, but thankfully 90% of the lawn had been mowed. However, I would get a model with more suspension for the seat as mine really jostles you around.
Like the Gravely mower so no issues with the product. Seems like they are mainly interested in selling them. A Dealer needs to have good service after the sale. I give the mower 5 stars and the dealership 1 star.
Great local store that offers a wide variety of equipment for arborists and lawn care. A good stock of rope that is always a high quality
Worse service I have ever seen they will lie to you about everything they think you buy it then we are threw with you!
I went in there, for the first time, to have some chainsaws blades sharpened and that place is awesome! They have a very large showroom of Hobie kayaks, on top of their regular lawn maintenance equip! A very impressive store!
NO GOOD! One star rating is too good! Won't repair problem under warranty even after I emailed pictures to the manufacturer and they emailed me back saying that they could see that there was a problem and wanted me to take it to a dealer so they could repair it. Jeff at Twin City Outdoor Equipment would not even consider repairing Gravely HD 48 mower I bought new from them before or after the manufacturer saw there was a problem!! Don't fall for his lies!
The company I work for had to have on our chopsaw repaired and at the time of dropping it off was told by a tech that they would text us with information. Two months have gone by and havent heard a word from the service dept. I finally called them and was told they were waiting on a part from the factory. I commend them on using genuine parts and not just using aftermarket parts. But let the customer know something, make a simple phone call saying,, "We are waiting on a part and it will take a few weeks getting it here, because its on backorder." Dont leave us in the dark. If that was the case, I would have fixed it myself.
