Lots of nice fields for team sports. Nice walking and jogging path around the lake. Didn't see the alligator but did see and hear lots of red winged blackbirds.
It's a great place to go if you want to practice. They have fields there so you can do several sports: football, soccer, faceball, other smaller fields to do ultimate Frisbee for example. They also run leagues at this park as well, check through Google for local leagues. I usually come on weekdays to make sure fields are empty to practice my kicks. Great location whether you live in Sarasota or if you're coming from out of town because it's vicinity to Interstate 75.
Picnic tables, walking trail around a lake, fantastic playground, and ball fields. Also home to Cooperative Extension Service and Parks and Rec offices.
Great place to find a tow truck when you can't find one in town just look out at Twin Lake Park they're probably doing an inspection again
This place is a great place for all ages, it has lots of sports fields tennis, football, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, etc It also has great fishing experiences BUT beware of the gators! Beware of all wildlife as well, the birds sure do like to try to steal your food!
Fields are always in great condition. We love playing travel baseball tournaments at these fields. There is netting covering the entire spectating area so never any fear of stray foul balls.
Nice spot for the frosty 5K! Lots of parking and easy to find and get around. Enjoying our time here in Sarasota.
Cute park. I would love to explore it more the next time I go there. Main mission was to donate a couple books to the little library. Also recused 1 frog with 3 being in there. Gorgeous butterflies and dragonflies and flowers.
Awesome park. Lots of stuff. Host a lot of league sports. One and only complaint is that it's dark. When you drive through in the evening, it's very difficult to see and understand where roads are. You have to memorize the park during the day time so you can navigate it at night. They need to add some lights, road reflectors, etc. I am surprised the county hasn't addressed this yet..
Nice quiet place if you go during the week. Has kids play area.
