i start with mother natures own beautiful natural work then bring my own spirit in to each stick.every stick is different and each one tells me what it wants done.i do all natural crushed stone inlay designs,each stick i get has it's own personality and i try to bring it out as i am working on them.they take a long time to make and i wont sell a staff until i feel it is complete.most sticks i leave the bark on to show the natural beauty of the twists but some tell me to be naked so they are without bark. the decision is not yours but the staff's,,,,i get them as sticks but when i am finished they have transformed into staffs,,,staffs that will help protect and guide you through the journey of life or just a walk around the block. so let the staff choose you ,not you choosing the staff.
