Two Bit Circus

About

We’re the world’s first Micro-Amusement Park™! Our goal is to bring people together through new forms of entertainment. Now open in the DTLA Arts District.

Description

Two Bit Circus is an experiential entertainment company building a network of micro-amusement parks. These 35k-50k square foot entertainment complexes are a new platform to showcase the future of fun and bring people together through VR, escape rooms, re-imagined arcade games, immersive theater, and other new forms of entertainment. The venues are a launchpad for new technologies and branded content and serve as an anchor tenant to drive customers and traffic to urban centers and malls. Two Bit Circus has a long history of working with brands to help tell their story through public attractions and spectacle. Some highlights include VR action sports content for the NFL, NBA, and Indy; major entertainment activations at the Olympics, the Super Bowl, and All Star Games; and even a cloud that rains tequila. The first micro-amusement park opens in Downtown LA in 2018. Learn more at @TwoBitCircus and www.twobitcircus.com.

It costs about $40 per person. general admissions They give you enough credits to play the smaller games. If you want to try the virtual reality games or escape rooms, you will have to pay more. You can buy a drink with the card they give you or you can pay debit. No cash though. You see a lot of people wearing anime costumes, masks, tails and what not. The drink I got was tasty . I like how mostly every game has a cup holder. Didn't get to try the food. If you're looking for something unique to do on the weekend, check out Two Bit Circus. kind of expensive though
Was in town, and came to Two Bit Circus for a fun date night! We had a reservation don't think it was needed and we each had a $50 play card, which was way too much for each of us. Might have $20 left we kept the cards, if we potentially come back in the future The venue itself is nice and spacious with a variety of games. There is a bit of outdoor seating as well. The huge letdown of the night was the a lot of the games had malfunctions or had faulty sensors, which ruined some of the competition of the night. Some of the games were also just completely off. Food was subpar. Staff at the bar is friendly. Overall, similar to a Dave & Buster's, but a more spacious venue. All the games definitely need to be checked. We were able to park down the street without any issues.
Loved my experience here! My bf took me as a surprise for my birthday and had lots of fun. They have lots of options for VR games and I definitely recommend the game rooms. The candy factory game room was really fun!
this place is fun; definitely look into deals if you want to have a better experience and save some money! the bartender was weird but the atmosphere was cool. the front desk worker was sweet and helpful.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
I came here on a Sunday afternoon with my family. It was very fun and refreshing for us all. It is a bit pricey but nonetheless we enjoyed the atmosphere. We played the arcade games, tried the VR, and the escape room. Would definitely recommend, giving 4 stars rather than 5 only because some games didn't work, the guns at the VR games weren't working properly and some of the hoses in the escape room we tried did not work.
The pinball machines are very fun and the best room experience they have is the raft. Highly recommend the raft room if you like VR. It is smaller than a dave and busters but great for groups.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
This place is fun! There is technically no admission fee, but you need to buy bits on these reusable cards in order to enter. Bits can be used on food, drink, and games. They seem to run frequent promotional packages; when we went, they had an Easter special where $100 got us 4 cards with $25 each 2,000 bits total plus a bonus card with 1,000 bits for the arcade games. The games occasionally break down, so you’ll need to ask them to send support staff out to help. Nevertheless, the three of us were well-entertained by most of the games in the Midway, and I had a blast with their Beatsaber setup the headset is much heavier than an Oculus.
This place is amazing! It's like Dave and Busters x1000! Awesome VR games, super fun multi-player arcade and fair/circus style games, a great bar, restaurant and so much more!! Perfect for a party, corporate group, date night, family outing with kids or just a fun evening with friends!
Second time here and we played Mario Cart religiously with my old soccer teammate. Had blast here and the games were cool.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
I would really like to give this five stars, and if I was 16 years old, I just might. But as a fully rendered adult, I have not been in a space with that many teenagers at once since I was a teenager myself, and that is just a very weird place to be hanging out having drinks with friends. That said, it's a really well crafted experience, once you get past the front desk/ticketing situation which is bizarre and seems to take way longer than necessary. But what do I know. There's a smattering of Old School arcade games ei: Ms. Pacman, a decent amount of VR headset games, and around the edges of the room are some seemingly custom build larger themed experiences which I think is the stuff that really separates this place from just another arcade place with bar food and drinks, which this also is. The food is a blend of circus snacks and school cafeteria fare, all of which is mediocre, but if you're here to critique the food, you are completely missing the point. The bar is decently stocked, and depending on who's at the stick, you could probably get whatever you wanted. Although, so far I've had some canned beers and shandy's There's a side room for special events and such. The art design of the space has a circus/magic forest vibe which works surprisingly well together. Bathrooms were clean. By far the most charming game in the room was the life-sized hungry hungry hippos which is both utterly silly and perfectly rendered.
