This was my first time here and I did enjoy it. When this place gets their fries to the quality level that they already have their burgers, watch out. They lacked the wow factor found in their other dishes. The waiter was very friendly and very inviting, but he must have asked 20 times if I needed anything and the one thing that I asked for, he forgot. I hope he brought it to somebody nice. Their hot wings/buffalo wings were very good. Wings are always a selling point for me if they are done correctly. And 2 brothers absolutely does them correctly. Finished everything up with perhaps the best bread pudding topped with ice cream that I have ever had. So I will definitely be returning to 2 Brothers bar and restaurant here in Decatur.
The guy bartender is lazy and unattentative, they treat their employees like trash when things get busy, building leaks when it rains. Otherwise he food is excellent the cooks do a great job, the menu is good and have good specials
Went in tonight and didn't know the kitchen closed at 9 since the website shows they're open until 11. Offered to go somewhere else, but server said we could order but had to do it now. Ordered food and then found out they close at 9 and not just the kitchen. Long story short, server was rude and rushed us out the door, drinks were weak with flat pop and the food was mediocre at best. What a waste of $53 bucks! Don't recommend!
Why did I drive by so many times and not explore this experience? 2 Brothers is now on my list. I am a regular, and I've only ever visited one time. I had the lasagna available for a dinner special on Wednesday and it was phenomenal. Hearty, meaty, cheesy. Best lasagna in Decatur. HaHa! My mom had the grilled chicken sandwich. This was a behemoth of a sandwich, which must have been delicious because it disappeared. The only thing she would have changed is to have a little less bbq sauce on the sandwich. Maybe try ordering the sauce on the side? As I was finishing up, I heard mention of a caramel apple nut pie concoction. I'm so glad I did. I ordered it to go, but it barely made it in the house before landing happily in my belly. If you, like my former self, have driven by 2 Brothers and not yet stopped by. Give them a shot! I promise, we'll all be regulars!
Sat in the back room they brought our food then forgot about us after. They charged me for ice water and also the lemon. Their posta is awful they put melted parmesan cheese all over it. Prices are extremely highFood: 3/5
I've been going to 2 brothers since I could walk I loved going there and seeing the bear skins on the wall and I liked it when they had the sweet pickles on the table. Well then I got older we moved further away but that didn't matter because we all loved they're food especially the chili omg my Mom would drive us 40 miles just because of there chili. Well over the years things got in the way and I couldn't go there for ever finally I did and things changed alot the look new owners and the chili it was good but spicy more than usual I was disappointed and the sweet pickles you have to ask for now and only get a couple in a little container. I ordered the same thing everytime I'd go in there for years well I go even less now because of the hours I drive and they're hours as well. And the chili isn't the same it's good but need less spicy and beans in it . Also I was very very upset when I looked at my receipt and seen they charged me a gratuity for a to go order 20.00 and didn't even tell me they do that anymore shouldn't it be up to us if we want to leave a tip or not and I could see it if I was dining in but I got it to go they didn't do anything
There's a family side and bar side so kids can come in. The fried pickles are out of this world! Seriously, the best fried pickles ever. They're cut like fries and they aren't soggy, still have a slight crunch to them and the breading is tasty!
Not a fresh burger patty, looked frozen, then quickly cooked. I don't understand why a restaurant like this that has so much potential can't make a fresh hamburger when it's the easiest thing to make.Food: 2/5
This was my first time eating here. There were 17 of us. They had us at 2 tables but my wife and I could not fit at that table so we had to go to third and they would not let us move a table. Even though we had reservations for 17. But then the people behind us left and that was a bigger table so we moved there. For the food. I got the burger that had one beef patty and one pork pattie. It had good flavor. Fries were OK. Wife got breaded tenderloin. This thing was huge and they put it on one little hamburger bun. Overall not bad for bar type setting.
Due to a death in our family, I decided this year to get our take out Thanksgiving meal at Two Brothers… It far exceeded our expectations!! We got both the turkey and ham…which was so moist and full of flavor! We got to choose 3 out of the 5 sides, which was mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, Mac-n-cheese they also had sweet potato and stuffing as an option too. The meal also came with homemade dinner rolls. We could also choose one dessert for each meal purchased; pumpkin roll, apple pecan pie or cinnamon roll. The pumpkin roll could have easily fed 2 people delicious! and the pie was scrumptious!! Everything was absolutely delicious. I was also impressed with how carefully it was packaged for us! The meal was $16.95 a person unless you purchased the family meal which fed 4, which ended up being around $12.50 a person!!! So much less expensive than Ft. Wayne restaurants and equally, if not better, than the expensive places! We all agreed that this will become our family tradition for Thanksgiving!! Thank you Two Brothers for having Thanksgiving meals for our community…it sure made being together easier, as there was no stress and very little time in the kitchen, which meant more time together as a family!! I have already recommended you to many of my friends and family…to Two Brothers on a job very well done!!
