Had no reservations. Took outside picnic tables. Food and service were very good. Thought waitress was overwhelmed at times, but bartender took up the slack. BBQ was excellent when we got it. Was a busy night! Entertained ourselves watching football at the bar and pitching horseshoes out back. Pit was a bit neglected, but we had a go at it anyway. Overall, had a damn fine time. Good food and good friends with friendly staff made it work out great!
A great place to eat! The brisket is some of the best! And our waitress was awesome too! We'll be back for more! Thanks you guys!Food: 5/5
Was there about a week ago. Came in with my husband and our two daughters. Customer service was amazing BUT everything else was a miss. Came in at a slow time there was only one other table sat and it was dead silent. The music was so low you couldn’t hear it near the tables at all and it was so awkward and uncomfortably silent you could hear the other tables eating. We ordered and got our foodmy husband and I both got the brisket food comes out cold. We also were missing our rolls and had to ask for them. The ones they brought out felt like hockey pucks. We ended up not even eating them. Then we get to eating our brisket and it’s the cold burnt fat parts. It looked more like pulled pork and a slice of brisket. It was not good at all. I then heard the waitress tell the table behind us that they were out of brisket so that confirmed they gave us the slop at the bottom of the pan. At $22 a plate I expect better. If you don’t have the right meats to serve then just don’t do it. We’re Colorado residents and absolutely love South Fork but will without a doubt not be eating here again on our future visits.
The owner was cool. The staff was nice. There's a regular who will try to flirt his way into getting your pick-up order. We had the half chicken, BBQ beans, potato salad and side salad.Food: 4/5
We didn't eat, so no comment on food. The bartender was perfect - friendly and knowledgeable. The bar itself was short on whiskey choices. Glenlevit must be the cheapest, most available single malt on the planet, as apparently it's the fall back at every bar in the area. The place was nearly empty when we went in the afternoon but it looked like they were gearing up for a lively Friday night. It'll be worth another trip, for sure.
This place is awesome. Prices are reasonable for the LARGE portions of food I got! I ordered fried pickle appetizer, and the Mac and cheese with a side of fried okra. The fried food was absolutely cooked to perfection and the Mac and cheese was home style cooked. The sausage/hot link was super flavorful as well. I will probably be stopping here everytime I make the trip over the mountain in the future.
Okay, wow! Legitimately the best brisket sandwich I've had since I lived in Texas. Put this on BBQ destination lists alongside Franklin in Austin, TX. The cut was the perfect level of melt-in-your-mouth fatty brisket. The Philly cheesesteak was also fantastic and the coffee was delicious. Two Rivers BBQ is world class! If you're driving on 160, you HAVE to stop. It's probably worth driving on 160 just so you have to go there. The decor is fun and the BBQ is killer.
Wow!!! Who would have expected this..here. The food is all fresh, homemade. The brisket has to be the best I have ever had..moist, beautiful cut, cooked perfectly! Homemade coleslaw was crisp and just the right mix of flavors. They make their own small batch BBQ sauce which was excellent. Wish we lived nearby but were traveling through. You don't want to miss it.
Had the 2 meat platter and brisket plate, the food was amazing, even the sides tasted homemade and delicious. The interior looks like a farming museum, it's great. I recommend the vanilla or wildberry italian soda.Food: 5/5
Holy cow - best barbecue ever. I had the Brisket, with fried okra and baked beans. I’m from Texas and I’ve never had better barbecue. The food - everything - was perfection. Do not drive through South Fork without stopping here!!!
