Always pleasant. Fuel is usually cheaper here. It's way out in BFE closer to branford than Old Town. They have tanning beds on site and they have a full service deli with decent food for the location and price. I've been going there for many years and will continue to shop there for many more
Always a pleasure! I usually get this turkey club right here and it’s packed full of deliciousness. Everyone is very pleasant here!
A gas station / convenient store about 19 miles from a real grocery store, such as the Old Town Market on US 19 ... is very worthy of a stop if in the neighborhood. They have a very good menu of items for a very good price. Better than the Market and cook for yourself in my opinion. Aside from the kitchen, others that work the store are very nice / friendly as well. Can't go wrong to stop in for food, drinks, newspaper, dog food, or whatever else you may be seeking in short order - out in the middle of nowhere! Try it.
The retail girl was real sweet. The store was clean and isles were not cluttered our anything. Was able to get in and get out. Even got good deal on cold water for our dog. Happy place with good prices.
The employees are always friendly & ready to assist you. The store stays clean, or at least everytime I've ever been there it was very clean.
My local store. They have a little of everything. They have great burgers.
First.. the pressed cuban sandwich.. phenomenal!! Several other sandwiches are available at the deli here too. This is your neighborhood country store, where most people know each other. They sell locks, bulbs, tools, dishes, cups, beer soda, milk, frozen food, Ice cream, and GAS. Their located off of 349. Some of the prices are a little high, but not outrageous, and because it's in the middle of the country, so have to expect it. Stop here for a sandwich after or before your fishing trip, it won't disappoint.
Great place to get food great place to get gas good place to hang out for a few minutes and talk
I have visited this store since before there was a full blown kitchen inside. I visited the store again when equipment was installed and they waited for inspection. Then one day they were open for business. I still have an original menu which is a 17" x 11" double-sided sheet of goodies dated June 2016. That was condensed to two normal sheets of paper 8x11 in mid-2017, now down to a single sheet my last visit in early 2018. I guess they had to limit what they do based on demand OR more likely they were too darn busy trying to fill 2 large sheets with orders!! Every time I visited they were busy as all could be with physical patrons waiting and ordering while taking calls for more. There is nothing else like this for miles around from where they are located and open with cooked food at their times of day. I had hoped they would hire more people as typically they only have 1 lady running crazy and a few times 2...instead of limiting what they do, but whatever works for them to keep afloat and earn money. You are about 12 miles to the nearest real grocery store - Hitchcocks at 19/98 and 349 area and there are no cooked meals waiting for you there, in front of you, awaiting you in that locale at 7am. Oh - there is Hungry Howies and a Hardees. Sorry. This would not be complete or accurate without mentioning the Rick Bluff General Store about 7 miles NE off 340 which also has a cooking area. I have no comments since I have not ordered anything from there but if you have visited this location you will know there is no comparison in my opinion. But again, I did want to mention it, it too is well established and they have a menu of items. veryLong story short - pay a visit and decide for yourself. This is only my experience and my dad, a friend, a child, and his/her friend
Nice people. Except redhead in deli. She is very rude to customers. I witnessed a situation which should have been immediate dismissal.
