It’s an old Best Western that is well cared for and maintained, giving it a certain charm. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are okay more than a bit dated, but super clean with thoughtful amenities. HOWEVER: our room *reeked* like cigarettes. My spouse could not sleep because of it and we spent as little time in the room as possible. Really ruined the experience.
This is definitely a "must return" place to stay. The hotel is comfortable and beautiful with many added touches and amenities not found at the typical Best Western. Jessica and Delaney were both extremely professional, warm and friendly and clearly keep the place running smoothly. I had made a last minute, late night arrival due to an unexpected travel disruption. The room was so comfortable and clean, I immediately made a reservation for a second night's stay. Breakfast was generous with a wide variety of offerings not usually found at a Best Western. The surrounding area is quite beautiful. It is the professionalism and kindness of Jessica and Delaney, however, that made my stay so enjoyable. I will definitely be back.
Great find in Ketchum!!! I have not stayed at a Best Western before. We got a mountain view room with a deck that looked towards the ski resort. The front desk was extremely welcoming. Brooke was awesome and so helpful. The location is amazing and amenities with pool and spa was hit with the kids. I will definitely be back again.Rooms: 4/5
Excellent for the family. My kids loved the pool and game room, but the best surprise was the hot chocolate/coffee maker in the lobby. It made some of the best hot cocoa we've ever had. Staff was friendly and the facility was clean. We would absolutely stay there again.Rooms: 5/5
Parking will be rough if you are driving a truck. I drive a f350 crew with a long bed. Almost couldn't fit in a parking space and had to turn back turn back 3 times to get into a space because the lane to drive down in the parking lot is barely wider than my truck. The rooms are small, very small. The hallways are tight and cramped. The beds and pillows are old and outdated, painful to sleep on. It is still clean. it's taken care of. The stuff was nice...the breakfast was very good the options were plenty. Rooms: The hotel has a lot of rooms packed inside a small hotel. We stayed in a double queen. It was half the size of most the best westerns i have stayed in. The beds were old and outdated, and my neck and back hurt for 2 days. Made it almost impossible to sleep.
Old world charm, great staff, pet friendly, wonderful ambiance, perfect location on shuttle route for skier pick/up, beautiful mountain views, a huge dog area/walking path. Has complimentary breakfast, just enough to get you going for the morning. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to assist. The hotel staff even clears the snow off your cars in the morning : Most of the guests that we have met in the last few stays are repeat guests for years and love it as much as we do. We have met some wonderful people in the lobby, hanging out by the fireplace. Did I mention they have a fireplace and a great European coffee maker in the lobby?! And fresh cookies and doggy treats at reception.
I visited here a couple months ago during ski season. I chose it because it was the least expensive option available in Ketchum. I liked the location right next to a bus stop that takes you to the ski resort and I really liked the breakfast. Although I didn't spend much time in them, the common areas the lobby, game room and hot tub area looked very nice. I had a bit of an issue when I first arrived. I had booked my room through a third party site that never sent the reservation to the hotel. The manager went above and beyond to help me in this unfortunate situation that I had found myself in. She gave me another room at a reasonable rate and later wrote a letter to help me get a refund for the fraudulent booking. I really can't thank her enough, because I don't think that I would have ever gotten my money back if it weren't for that letter she wrote.
Everything was super good and beyond our expectations at this place. The hot pool is also worth going. They have free breakfast buffet which was pretty decent too.
Really great location that is walkable to the ski resort. The main part of the lodge is warm and inviting with decent breakfast and drinks. Rooms / beds could use some refurbishment and feel pretty dated.Rooms: 3/5
The staff is great. The breakfast is filling. The room and lobby area ws very clean. Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
