This is such a beautiful place. It was once loved and cared for. Thankfully a boy scout troop did some improvements last year. Blessings for that! The grounds haven't been touched this year. So a group of us are trying to clean it up. This is a very unique place, one of the lowest spots in Michigan. If you visit there please leave only your footprints behind.
Very unique location that I was unaware of after living in the area for 35 years. People have been working on repairs which is nice. In the 5 years or so since I visited last a foot bridge was added and some memorial benches. Definitely worth taking the time to see the sunken garden in person.
A beautiful hidden gem in Fenton. The experience would have been much better if not for the wind. It's a nice little place to sit peacefully or take a quiet break. I hope the community is able to raise funds needed to complete the repairs.
I visit here whenever I can. Good for meditation and wildlife. Please clean up after yourselves though. I don't think it's maintained by anyone anymore so it's your responsibility when your there.
Beautiful place to check out!
How come I have never heard of this place? Interesting history. The ground is often wet so wear appropriate foot wear. It sits back behind a Cemetery. You will need to walk down a hill and walk across a small bridge.
