Dr. Kris Popli has always been interested in the medical field. He comes from a family of doctors and pharmacists, but also enjoys working with his hands... So he completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at Virginia Tech before enrolling in dental school. This combination of skills has allowed him to become a better dentist. He has been serving patients in Northern Virginia, Maryland and the DC area for over 20 years.

Dr. Kris Popli is a "Gadget Geek" and always stays on top of new technologies. In 2003, Dr. Popli became the first dentist in the Tysons area to utilize the Waterlase dental laser. The dental laser was demonstrated live from his office on Washington's CBS Channel 9 News. He quickly became known as the "Laser Dentist" by adults and children who have experienced its benefits: no shots, no drills, no numbness! He also uses a laser for accurately detecting cavities and in office teeth whitening.

Dr. Popli was wonderful!  He got me in quickly to repair my loose crown on my implant.  A few days later he cleaned my teeth and replaced an old filling.  He explained everything he was doing and gave great rationales.  His office receptionist/assistant was also very kind  and gave great care.   I’m sad I’m moving away.  Good providers make all the difference!

Dr. Popli is a great dentist with a great "bedside" manner.  He is friendly and kind, and explains the work being done, pros and cons.   He takes time to listen to any questions/comments you may have about procedures done, past and present, and doesn't rush through the appointment.  I highly recommend him for your dental care.

I found Dr. Kris Popli on a Google search and I couldn't be more impressed with his work. He is very through and very patient. I had to do an implant and he explained the whole process for me, not even mentioning that his price is not outrageous as some i have seen in the area. If you are looking for dentist, look no further Dr. Kris Popli is it!

Dr. Popli has been our family dentist for about 15 years. He is very experienced in taking care of our dental needs. We are very satisfied with his services. I especially had lots of problem with my teeth, Dr. Popli has done a good job in placing crowns and implants for me. His advice for dental hygiene is also helpful.

Dr Popli has been my Dentist for decades. He is very kind and keeps up with the technological advances in dentistry. His technique is gentle but detailed.   I still see Dr Popli even though I moved 15 miles away. I like him so much that I’m willing to travel RT 66 and 495 to go to the dentist even though there’s a dental office close to my house. Thank you Dr. Popli for taking very good care of my teeth.

I have been a patient of Dr. Popli since 2012. I moved to Lorton at one point and switched dental practices, only to come back. I appreciate his attention to detail and the teachings that come along with the cleanings. My oldest now sees him as well, as he is great with kids. I've had a few not so great experiences with dental practices at the bigger assembly line based chains, only to realize the importance of having a good dentist. One cavity had been overlooked previously by another dentist, followed by a really bad experience of having a nerve that didn't get completely numb during a procedure. I made the decision to go back to Dr. Popli and explained my newly developed anxiety. He was able to help and to keep me calm during the procedure. He was able to fill my cavity and only had to numb the tooth not the entire lower jaw area. Needless to say, that was a very comforting experience. I experienced some root sensitivity a few months later and had to come back for an emergency visit. he was able to see me the next day, and there was no bill as a member of the practices dental plan which was a pleasant surprise. All in all, I can definitely say that I think the practice is great, Dr. Popli is great, and his staff is wonderful.

Great experience from online booking to appointment little to no wait time to professional and kind staffs! Dr Popli is knowledgable and patient in explaining all the procedures and answering my questions. Had cavity extractions done with the laser technology and it was efficient and painless with no anaesthesia needed!

Dr. Popli is extremely knowledgeable, caring and a great dentist and he attentively listens the patient. He explains the process and answers all the doubts and questions.  His assistant is very supportive in whatever is needed to be done for the process. I would visit again for my dental needs and would recommend others for the dental issues.
