The fuel service fee of $40 is ridiculous, borderline criminal offense! Then an additional $35 for the actual fuel use for 30 miles cost more then the entire rental. Your fuel charges cost more then the rental! I understand the price gouge on the gas but then another $40 flat rate on top, is not caring for your customers.
The gentleman that helped us was very kind. Thanks again for making our move so easy.
They will charge you for fuel regardless
Not pleased with this rental store. We waited in line for an hour and a half. By the time we are assisted he said at first that it looks like someone else had rented it. He found our rental, thankfully. As we are finishing up there was another customer in line after us. He informed us that he would help the customer behind us before verifying the hook up. After about 20 minutes of waiting he finally comes out, instead of taking the photos he needed to he was talking on his phone. We finally left and hour and 45 minutes later. Not happy, glad we are moving and will not need to deal with this company again.
They tell you one thing when you called them but very different in person and very expensive I won't do business with them never again.
No Military Discounts offered and this town is only a few miles from Lemoore Naval Air Station? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? We're talking ACTIVE duty Military here! I will never rent from U-Haul again because the young lady said that this is a company wide policy. We can't choose who we catch a bullet from, but we can choose where we spend our $$$. And it won't be here! NEVER AGAIN U-HAUL!!!!
I call them for a rate and they told 630 for Hanford to San Diego I go online and get a rate and it was only 330 they wanted double . I would not do business with these people they are not honest and will try to get over on you .
Terrible customer service, I called to make a reservation, the old man working there asked me what kind of truck I needed, I said a 20 ft, he said I have 2 available for this coming Saturday, I said ok I need to reserve one. He said he was busy and was going to call me back, he never did. So I made the reservation on line and then on Saturday I went at 9:00 am to pick up my truck, he was busy with a client and it took him forever to give her a rental truck and some boxes, then it was my turn, I told him I made a reservation on line and he was rude, he said I needed to wait, then his computer was really slow, he said he needed to cancel my reservation and start all over again, so finally at 10:30 I left the store with my rental, I was there 1 1/2 hrs.
Very nice guy that runs it. We needed the truck for an extra day and he just added it on. Cool old school stuff inside.
Best U-Haul place to go to friendly service and just good people
