Actually Smith Towing every one is courteous they do state vehicle inspections, they are also Triple A. I have met everyone of them, and never had any issues.
Was a terrible experience. I’m an advocate of a disabled clients who’s name will be left unknown. Rented a uhual since they were the closest and she just experienced a house fire and needed to move stuff on such short notice. Which they were great checking in very slow due to software which was no big deal, then she couldn’t find a storage unit so she called to extend her uhual which is when there employee “Kristi” don’t quote me on her name repeated her self several times that as long as the uhual was back before midnight that there would be no charge, but since it was scheduled to go out the next day it had to be there before midnight which was great we took our time unpacking the uhual and we’re directed on the phone she could come pick up her $100 deposit Monday after 8:30 am when we did that she was given .86 cents she come out to the car very confused and upset she was yelled at by Tammy who’s also an employee there stating that they had someone up the hill watching and the uhual was returned at 10 pm. Since I was the driver at the uhual I knew that it was back plenty before 10 pm and my though was well it was still back before midnight so why where you charged 90 dollar's. Then I went it side and frantically asked why she was only receiving .86 cents and not the full reimbursement of her deposit. To which I was yelled at by both employees and the one we spoke with on the phone whom repeatedly stated that as long as she was back before 12 she would be fine and WOULDN’T be charged additionally. Not only did she raise her voice and act very inappropriate on companies time she also lied. Then when I asked if they had cameras to see exactly when the truck when returned they didn’t have much to say.after arguing with them for 5 minutes I decided to call her general manager Tanner who also wasn’t very helpful sat silent on the phone most the time and only responded very shortly with us expect for quite arguing to the 2 employees and myself who didn’t actually resolve anything except offer her 29 back when rightfully she was owed 60 something after paying for her uhual and putting the gas back to where it belonged and being charged for her mileage. Willl never rent from them again or do any business there ever again. Nor will I recommend anyone else. Shame on them for taking advantage of the disabled. Then to top it off her name was spelled wrong and she was listed as the driver when she doesn’t have a license. The uhual was returned the 31st at around 8:30 pm and they checked it in January 1st at 7:51 am so not only do they lie to you, they lie on paper too!! Beware doing business here!!!!
