U-Rent It Sales and Service

We rented a chainsaw to cut 2 trees to help a friend after a storm my husband has been a professional tree trimmer and is very knowledgeable about chainsaw use and maintenance/repair. Chainsaw was not in working condition, we were only able to use it for one cut before it failed and could not be brought back into working order. Shop refused to refund or credit for their faulty equipment, and tried to condescend us about our knowledge on the machinery. I don't recommend using this rental company.

i see why they have 3 stars. Should only have 1. How do you run someone's card without approval of amount first. 400 that I am now out that I needed. Will never be back here. Even for work, I'll take their business elsewhere too. You had me fill out the paper with my card info to have on file for recurring billing. NOT AN AUTHORIZATION FORM. Nor did you tell me the price before you ran the card or gave me a rental contract. That's a hustle if I ever seen one. Tell someone a price on the phone then get there. Don't tell them the price but take their card info for "monthly bill". Then bill the custome before you give them a contract or tell them, try and lock em in... well your card was already ran, might as well just go with it. Yeah not this guy. Good HUSTLE though.

I’ve rented heavy equipment from this outfit a few times, never had any problems they delivered the equipment to me right on time like they said they would be!! The ladies on the phone are 100% awesome These are all damn good people if you ask me!! I’ll be back thank you

I rented a concrete buggy from this place and also bull float but we have some complicated problems at first when Kyle took care of the problems on the return but other than that you will get good service if you get the right people . even though they will take care of you when you’re renting equipment from here no doubt

I rented a ride on brush cutter to clear an area with around a 30 degree or greater slope. This little cutter was a beast and felt very stable even clearing on such a steep slope. I had personal issue come up and was not able to return the following day. The girls up front were awesome when I called in. Of course I had to pay for the extra day, but I expected to do so. Regardless, the customer service was top notch and they were very polite. When I returned the cutter, a guy in the back said a cover on one of handles was missing. I didn’t remember seeing it. When I spoke to the manager he wasn’t sure if it was missing prior to me renting or not, but it was a newer machine. I total understand that when something is broken or missing, most customers always say they didn’t do it. Instead of blaming me the manger went and looked at video footage when I picked up and came back and apologized and said it was missing when I picked up. He could have stuck me with a charge since I didn’t notice it was missing when I picked it up, but he was honest and owned up to it. I appreciate the time he took to look at the video.

Equipment worked perfectly and pricing was good, but it’s the people that stood out. It’s not often that customer service stands out these days but they are genuinely nice people that care about your needs. I had a great experience and couldn’t recommend them more.

It sad when an established company that I have done business with for 10 years without any issues customer service changes for the worst. I rented a towable boom lift that was unsafe and immediately had issues at the job site I called u rent it and informed them of the issues. They requested I bring it back. I told them I was not comfortable driving the machine back because it would not safely secure and lower down. They assured it was safe to pull back. I was unable to complete the job. I returned it the following day as quickly as I could. The staff was great they fixed the problem with the equipment. I talked with the owner and informed I wasn’t able to use the equipment to finish my job do to the equipment breaking. Me and the owner disagreed about how resolve this issue. That’s business I understand that. Where my issue is his blatant disrespect towards me. The owner started talking badly about my father and there past business issues. Which has nothing to do with me. I don’t have the greatest relationship with my father and I am very offended. I will never rent from them again unless the owner a gives verbal apology. I have never been this disrespected and disgusted with a business owner.

Tried to get ahold of someone for 2 days on a piece of equipment they are selling and each time they took my name and number and never heard back after calling a 4th time. I guess lunch is way more important.

I have been renting from U Rent It for over 20 years. With all equipment, rental or self owned equipment, there’s going to be a day when they breakdown. U Rent It jumps through hoops to fix or replace any equipment we have problems with. All of their employees are polite and courteous. As a company that keeps equipment rented 12 months out of the year I can attest that I receive the best customer service from U Rent It, hands down.

Mind blown This morning I was helping shane and went to do the paperwork for us to rent a stump grinder at U-Rent It Sales and Service in Terrell. Once shane got there, I left to bring the girls back home and shortly after Shane calls me and tells me they loaded it on his truck, then the owner came out and told his worker to take it back off the truck because shane had left a bad review A YEAR AGO. The pick up order was in my name and hell, my name is on his truck and insurance as well. The customer service inside was absolutely amazing so I’m shocked. The ladies inside were so helpful and gave p a goodie bag and even gave me a pamphlet so we could rent tents and a stage for the wedding next year. When I called the owner he had an horrible attitude and said if anyone leaves a bad review he won’t rent to them if you look on google, since taking over for his granddad- he’s gotten nothing but bad reviews and when I said I would be there Monday then to rent it myself, he said he wouldn’t rent it to me because I called and questioned him on what had happened.
