I’ve been with US Bank for years and have always had great service. I especially love the team from Sun Prairie. I have branches closer, but always drive out of the way to them. Also, US Bank has great electronic banking products. Recently, we moved our mortgage to US Bank and the process was quick and easy. Thank you, USB Sun Prairie!
The Sun Prairie branch has a new Manager. I was contacted by Jerry via phone, and he went though my accounts with me, and was able to both save me money by changing an account, but make more money on the money I have in the bank. Great customer service. When I call with a question they are always quick to answer the phone, and direct it to the person that can best help me. On the occasions that I have been in the bank, they have always been friendly and treat me well. I feel as though they value me as a customer. This makes me feel good about having US Bank in Sun Prairie my primary financial institution. I would recommend as a bank to anyone just starting out with their first account and credit to someone who has a more complex financial portfolio.

I had seen some of the negative reviews, seemed kind of odd to choose a bank based on the parking lot. I asked about this and they said it was getting fixed. So this will cease to be an issue. I chose this bank because it is one of the strongest in the country. The tellers where nice and efficient, they where also able to answer a couple of questions I had about my account saving me a call. Well run branch and bank, which is what matters to me most.
Financially this is the best bank in the state, so I know my money is safe. I went to the branch. The staff was exceptionally helpful and nice. I felt like a valued customer and they cared that I bank with them. I recommend this over all other banks in town
Under no circumstances would I recommend this bank to anybody. The tellers have always been friendly, that is the only good thing I have to say about them. Never as a customer have I felt that my business has been valued less than I have at The US Bank Sun Prairie Branch. Any funds of check deposited is held for one business day, save for 200 dollars like it's 1972. Their app is buggy, and mobile deposit is capped at an outrageously low ammount. Lastly, their overdraft policy is outright predatory. I have business a business checking account with them for 2 years and there are periods where I have large sums of money tied into the business and payments are late from contractors. I have easily paid well over 1,000 dollars in overdraft fees in the time I have banked here, to which I have been offered zero reliefs, Go to a credit union like Summit or UW. If you wish to go with a bank, go to Bank of Sun Prairie. All are institutions that I have had positive experiences with. When I closed my account, they couldn't have cared less. They never cared about keeping my business, don't expect them to care about yours either.

I really appreciated how he took ownership of my problem and provided world class service, working with underwriting, calling me periodically with updates, and getting me exactly what I needed. DO NOT APPLY FOR A HOME LOAN HERE!!! I've had a checking and savings account with US Bank since I was a child. I thought I knew this bank like the back of my hand, but after my most recent experience I'm seriously wondering why I ever put so much trust in an organization like this one. Allow me to explain: A young couple in their 20's is looking to purchase a new house. They are both starting out but are by no means poor, they both have landed their dream jobs, and are eager to begin a life together with their new puppy in the perfect house. Now imagine this: You reccomend US bank to your partner because you've never had any problems with them. So taking your advice as any partner would do in a trusting relationship, they agree and seek a home loan through US Bank. After getting preapproval you search and eventually find the house of your dreams. It's on the golf course, it's got a gorgeous kitchen and an inviting sun room. After a month and a half of back and forth you finally get a loan commitment letter from the bank! You and your partner are so excited, all of the paperwork has gone through and you are being told by the lender that you're all set! Everything is looking perfect. Meanwhile, your partner terminates the lease at their apartment, you both get a dog, sell one of the vehicles, pay down debt, go to school part time instead of full time so that you can make more money to buy this house, saving every penny you can. Then less than a week before the closing date they call you back and tell you they aren't going to give you the money because they don't count overtime hours as a part of the household income! A month after sending us a loan commitment letter! You know, the one saying go ahead and buy the house. Everything looks great! US Bank has single handedly ruined our lives. We are for all intents and purposes homeless, only have one vehicle, and are struggling to find a place that will allow a large husky puppy into their units. Additionally we have already purchaser construction and renovation materials. I have remained calm, if something does not change IMMEDIATELY, further actions will be taken, and US Bank will be reported. Your corporation has not only ruined our lives financially, but you have also embarrassed us, and brought us a huge amount of suffering over the past few months. I am completely sick to my stomach. To anyone looking to get a home loan from these people: RUN AWAY!!! Run away like you're on fire!!! They promise you everything but give you nothing. P.S. the tellers are amazing and so nice! Worst branch of U.S. Bank, the workers of the bank aren't qualified for the job, they can't count correctly. Today, I went through the drive thru and made a check deposit. And got a receipt for 400$ less than was on the pay check. It's good that I noticed that something was wrong, and returned back. And I had go inside and talk about the problem.
Sun Prairie, WI Today Sat 7/1/17 I walked in to US Bank just past 10am. The bank was slow to moderately busy. There was only 1 acct mgr/banker to open accounts. She was with a client at the time, so the teller took my name/number to call me when the mgr was free. I told him I only lived 4 blks away so I could come back. I thought that was a nice gesture. I did not receive a call, so I went back to the bank at 11:40a They close at 12p. Unfortunately, I found the teller forgot to call me when the acct mgr was free. Both the teller and the acct mgr proceeded to tell me that they didn't want to open an acct for me this close to closing because it would take about an hour. That doesn't sound too customer-oriented to me. They asked me if I would come back on Mon. Unfortunately I can't because I have a regular 1st shift job [8am to 6pm.] I politely told them if they would not open an acct now I would be looking elsewhere. They again said no, so I politely said "Ok thank you." and left.
