Sad but this branch and US bank in general seems to not have any customer service. I received a call and tried returning the call but no answer and no voice mail. Tried calling the 800 number, after 15 minute wait they had no answer as to why I was called by the branch. Made an appointment for a call back on their website and waited for the phone call. Got a text reminder and an email confirmation but NO actual phone call. I still have no clue as to why they left me a message. I assume it was a sales call but not nice to leave a number where no one is available to answer the call. I tried repeatedly for about 90 minutes because I was concerned. I thought BofA was as bad but at least they leave a number where a person can be reached.
I made an appointment to open a new business account at this branch because I grew up in the area and currently my son attends school in the area, so I wanted to be convenient while I awaited to pick him up from school. A banker wasn’t available until about 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, in which once we got started the transaction seemed pleasant. After the banker verified my information and started preparing the paperwork to open the account, a mean older woman came over and interrupted the process. She racially profiled me, said I had no business in the area, she didn’t believe my documents or my business was real, and although the banker who assisted me told her my ID, business and documents were verified, she continued to abuse her power by disrespecting me and trying to make me feel less than. She continued by saying her name is Shahena Uppel and because she’s the manager she has a right to decline my application. I told her that she was discriminating against me and she couldn’t do that, however she insisted with making snide remarks and stating there’s nothing I could do about it. Everyone in the bank was appalled; both bank staff and customers! I had $50,000 cash on me that I needed to deposit, I’m so grateful I was able to go across the street to Citibank to get professional service and assistance. Racial Profiling and Discrimination are against the law and bank employees, especially managers should be held accountable for their despicable actions.
Well i am actually veey dissappointed with thw Bank. I did not pick US BNK. i WAS TRANSFERRED FROM UNION BANK. I WENT INTO THE BANK IN MAY AND REPORTRD I DID NOT RECEIVE MY BANK STATEMENTS . THEY COULD NOT PRINT ME A COPY BUT GAVE ME A LISTING OF TRANSACTIONS. TODAY I CALLED AND ONCE AGAIN EXPLAINED I DID NOT GET MY STATEMENTS FOR THE PAST THREE MONTHS. I WAS TOLD THEY SENT THEM TO ME. I SAID I DID NOT GET THEM. I WAS TOLD TO GO TO MY LOCAL POST OFFICE. I EXPLAINED I WILL NOT DO THAT. I NEED THEM SENT TO ME PRONTO OR I WILL JUST ASK FOR A CASHIER CHECK AND REMOVE MY FUNDS FROM THE BANK. I AM SHOCKED WITH THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE . NOT URE WHY ALL SERVICE BUSINESSES DO NT KNW HOW TO PROVIDE SERVICE ANYMORE. I LOGGED INTO U S BANK INFO AND READ ALL E MAILS REPORTING TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION WITH SERVICE. THAT S REALY TOO BAD. MY ACCOUNTS WILL B PULLED.
Expect a bait and switch as its happened to me twice here US BANK is the worst of banking. They want to think that they will lend to you but only under usury measures. My first issue is was with my home equity loan. They promised me $250,000 and came through for $190,000 - $60,000 shy. They don't care. Take it or leave it. I took it. I was a fool. I wanted to up the limit and they wouldn't give it to me BUT they would give me a $25,000 "personal loan" at 5.45% rate. Everything was good to go I just had to drive into the village and sign the docs. Problem was DESPITE my call to their national call center to confirm the approval of the loan today - they said it was all good. When the presented the docs to me it was $20,000 down $5,000 and UP TEN PERCENT on the loan. Literally NOBODY said a thing about that on the phone today. I walked out of the bank today. Good Bye. Buyer Beware. 1-star people. You have been warned.
One of the worse customer service banks in existence. They drop phone calls, do not call back. I am amazed they are still in business in the Palisades.
I wanted to become a customer, but was unable to scheudle a mutually convenient time. After several attemps buy phone and email, I could not connect to pin down a time. Maybe my expectations are too high.
Wanted to deposit over 1000 on my mom Account I don't bank with them but my mom does but at the moment she ill sick can't do it her self and they did not let me they did not care and it was cash but no she the teller also had a bit of attitude
