I put 24 holiday cards in the mail at this location and somehow they lost 23 of them. Only ONE actually made it to its destination. I filled out every type of service request and search form I could and was told without a tracking number there was nothing they could do so why even have the option of filling out all these forms??
My husband & I vacationed from mid October ‘22 to mid December’22. We completed the temporary mail forwarding forms available on line and paid the small charges. We received very few pieces of forwarded. mail. We expected to receive our un-forwarded mail when we returned. Despite standing in long lines almost every business day since we returned, we still have not received our missing mail which we know includes checks & one new credit card. Yesterday 1/03/23 a Christmas card postmarked 12/14/22 appeared in our mailbox. ????? This is crazy & so frustrating. How will we ever get our missing mail?
I used to have decent things to say about this post office, and its workers, despite their shortcomings, but as an eBay seller, I come in and drop things off a lot to avoid standing in the long line. Recently, they have not been scanning my items resulting in a high value item being lost in transit. I advise anyone shipping to not drop their packages off at the counter and to wait and get them scanned. Otherwise they may be stolen or “disappeared”. When I went in to ask about what happened to my package, they did not have an answer for me and said I don’t know it’s not here.
Tried to get somewhere as far as where my mail has been...claimed that with so many "retirements" i.e: short staffing, they had no one to deliver the mail and there wasn't anything we could do but to fill out a hold mail application and pick it up ourselves. Give me a break! I have been waiting on very important mail for a while now, and you have no one else to choose from in terms of doing your job as a public service job. How am I going to explain to my creditors that I had sent out important mail to them before an important due date, and the USPS said they were short staffed to the point where my mail couldn't be delivered? Why don't you recruit who you have from other post offices, or make the job with better hiring practices? Get your act together USPS...you can't be treating customers like this.
Mail person actually delivered mail today!!! Yay!!!! But there was a package he left down at the street on the ground next to our mailbox in the rain!!! It could have been stolen! It was totally saturated. They really need to stop with the excuses and get it together
Worst post office I’ve ever been to. Never answers the phone, hang up on me if they don’t know how to answer a simple question, and took them a year and a half to respond to my missing mailbox key, and Still haven't received it. And havnt gotten mail in a year and a half.
Made a 1pm appointment to passport application. Had everything filled out in advance and everything required in hand. Only one line was open for passports and everything else. What was the point in making an appointment for it to be half an hour later and still in line behind a family of four that started filling out the paperwork in line? If I could review the family I'd give them as many negative stars as I could. Definitely feels like the workers here know they can't be fired and work with the least amount of urgency possible.
Don’t mail your checks here. There had been numerous accounts of envelopes being taken most Likely either out of the outside blue mailbox or somewhere inside and those checks have been used to draw money out of the individuals account. At least 10 people have posted about it over the course of a month so it isn’t an isolated incident. It’s is a reoccurrence of fraud. Everyone this has happened to had two things in common. They mailed live personal checks AND they mailed them at the 1050 Airport road site.
If you want to be a treated like you are an inmate come here. Im 9 months pregnant and the red headed tall woman proceeded to catch an attitude with me over a return mailing address. Both their DIY kiosks are down and there’s always a line
GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. I thought the low ratings were an exaggeration but this place is terrible. I don’t know if they are short staffed or just incredibly slower workers, but it took me over 15 minutes to just buy stamps. It’s more worthwhile to drive to a different post office. DONT COME HERE.
