Mailed a package from Boston to Atlanta more than 4 weeks ago. The guy in the post office told us you have a 3-day and a 2-day options which we chose the 3-day and got charged $60 for a medium size package surprisingly it was not even priority mail but they charged more than the normal price of a priority package with Fedex or UPS. After all, not only my package didn't get delivered but I learned no one in USPS doesn't heck care about their job and their system is a malfunction. When I tracked the package it says it is in some facility in Atlanta for about 4 weeks in that facility. I went to the post office so maybe they can give me more information but they just gave me a phone number where they said it's the facility that your package got stuck there..when tried the number it was just an inactive number.. you couldn't find any other phone number of their stupid facility but only the general usps number. I called the general number to file a claim after wasting another half an hour with their robot agent which asks you tons of stupid questions and gives you useless information with another 45 min of waiting finally talked to a real agent on the line that was also another hour of wasting time, she gave me basically the same useless information that I already knew: your package got stuck in our facility in Atlanta..when I asked WHY my package got stuck there?? the response was we don't have that information you should wait until we can get you some update. Called back few days later to follow up hoping they already done some investigation and having some updates for me but the same story with another hour of wasting my time. Result: my package never got delivered after more than 4 weeks. Their tracking and claiming system is useless and waste of time as there is not a real person there and accountable to give you true information. Their 2-day 3-day promises is totally a false claim that I learned when I talked to their personnel in the post office and the fake customer services on the phone. My conclusion: USPS is a disabled disorganized service with irresponsible and unaccountable representatives. THEY simply doesn't care about customers and their service at all. This will be my last time I try this service at all cost.
Harvard Sq. Post Office, the worst service in Cambridge MA.. Im standing in line 10 customers ahead, and 7 customers behind. There's only one postal clerk serving us. Busiest time of the day, this location had only 1, clerk servicing the counter...
I don't think this place is that bad if you can manage to be there when there is no line. Problem is that 1 it's understaffed and 2 people only go there only when they don't know what they want or there is a problem, hence all the negative reviews.
Driver retuned my package back to the sender, saying "addresses was unknown at location" when I've never had issues with my deliveries. Some of these drivers need to get fired if they don't know what they are doing. Now I'm having to wait even longer to receive my package. They also never answer their calls! Worst post office ever!!!!
What an unpleasant person to deal with. And at the end, he chastises me for not giving ample time to the process. I was just there as a last resource because their online system does not work.
Employees behind the counter are super efficient, professional and friendly. They also handle all the idiots coming in here with more grace than I possibly could.
Beautiful old building. I arrived first thing in the morning so I had no issue with lines and the lady on staff was friendly. Could use more staff but they know that
Passport processing was long, but no worse than anywhere else. Children are fine here. I have only met with courteous staff.
service depends on the clerk you get, older woman is very nice and helpful. long waiting times
Unfortunately, I must agree with the other ratings here. This location is extremely understaffed and sometimes even the terminal isn’t working - lines of 20+ people. The staff is still friendly, which is nice.
