By far the easiest as well as the friendlest move in/leasing process especially being someone doing all of this from a different state. Everyone I spoke with was so helpful, a huge shout out to Blake for getting everything buttoned up for me before the trip this weekend as well as Dyson for all the information to get me here. With being helpful, friendly, fair priced with no hidden rent increases every few months, I'd definitely recommend this place!
If you have stuff here to check on it. Apparently they have a known rat infestation they are “trying to treat”. Never notified us of this. Just found out when we went to our unit and everything in it was literally ruined. Only advice they had was for us to contact insurance. Absolute joke. And they can’t clean up the rat poop so we can get in there and get our stuff out. Worst customer service ever! Absolute waste of money. If I could give zero stars I would.

I rented a U-Haul from this place last week. The first truck they gave me, once I opened he back I was immediately overwhelmed with the smell of smoke. I didn’t want my furniture to be infused with the smell, so I asked if I could use a different truck. My initial total was $195. I ended up going over my estimated miles and asked if I could put the amount I went over on a separate card and they said I could. Immediately after I received an email from my credit card company that my card had been charged for the full total of $263, not just the difference $68 like I was told. So now I have a $195 charge on one card and a charge of $263 on another, so a total of $458 for a two day U-Haul rental which I actually turned in a day early. I called them twice and went in person twice to attempt to resolve this issue and it took all four of these attempts to finally be able to speak with the manager who was the original one who authorized both of my transactions, and his response was that gave me the U-Haul corporate number for me to fix the issue. I understand mistakes happen, but I don’t understand stores and managers of stores refusing to accept responsibility for their own mistakes and forcing the customer to resolve their mistakes for them. The issue is still unresolved and I am in the hole almost $500 because of this. I do not recommend using this location.
We were moving our daughter out of her apartment last minute. I called the Prince St location and the young man was very nice, helpful, informative, and patient. He had us ready to move in to her storage unit that day! The premises are very clean. We would absolutely recommend!
The people here are friendly to talk to and the prices on things are very competitive. The truck is very easy to drive and they seem to have tuned the throttle response to be very touchy for some reason. I wasn't told the insurance, dolly and blankets were per day when setting up a 2 day rental. It turns out they scheduled me for less than 2 days as well, making my total expected expenses lower than reality. They also double-booked me, so I received a call from U-Haul a few days before the rental date stating the truck I want is no longer available. I noticed a 2nd "reservation" was now visible to me while speaking to U-Haul and mentioned the reservation number showing the details I was told. This is when she told me I was double-booked. Turns out the truck I "reserved" was still available. "Reservations" are not reservations, though. It says it is on the U-Haul site, but it isn't. If I can tell them weeks prior that I want it but they refuse to charge my card, and then they call it a reservation on the U-Haul website as well as text messages and emails, and then they tell me the truck isn't available.. then that isn't a reservation. They should watch Seinfeld. I chose to "reserve" this early on because I know people are probably all moving near the end of the month, too. I rented a hotel to go along with this because I wasn't sure when I'd be able to access the new place. Due to these things, I decided to just get the cheaper, non-refundable hotel. However, the actual cost of the U-Haul ended up making it not very economical since I was able to get into my place before the 1st of the following month. I ended up spending over $300 on the hotel and U-Haul when I could have spent under $100 if they were honest with the quote and the "reservation". Also, how is it possible and what is the point of "reserving" something weeks ahead, then being told it's not available? That must mean they have people renting these out longer than a few weeks ahead, and not returning them. Otherwise, how did someone else get what I "reserved"? It makes no sense. As soon as I opened the truck door it wreaked of ciggarette smoke. There is even an ad inside the vehicle motivating people to smoke ciggs inside the cabin. Why do that? The windshield was a filthy mess. The driver's armrest was missing and the passenger seat buckle made a very annoying rattling noise. I had intended to use my own padlock and didn't know it would come with one. I tried to loop the chain around the handle and lock the padlock so it's not hanging there and giving the impression from far away that someone can access an unlocked moving truck... but the padlock didn't work -- it wouldn't close. The cargo area had a couple pieces of paper in it from Ashley Furniture and some other stuff forgot what else. Did they let someone slide on the $25 charge, or did they fail to do the appropriate cleaning after charging the previous customer? I believe some of these issues are the fault of U-Haul but this appears to be a vendor of their vehicles and I see no gulag review page for U-Haul. Either way, I'm not bringing down the stars as far as I would have if it were a direct review of U-Haul.
We moved from TN and rented storage units for a couple months as well as truck/ trailer rentals when moving! This specific Conway U Storage location has always been super friendly and very helpful!! Would definitely recommend!!
Everyone was very nice, extremely knowledgeable, always available when I called, and the unit and property is very clean with easy access. I also dropped my UHaul off at this location. The transaction went very smooth.
Rented from Conway U Storage for probably 6 years. Great customer experience. No problems. When my door broke, it was fixed very quickly. Great people to work with.
I rented a U-Haul from this location. I rented a dolly and 24 moving blankets along with the truck. I knew they would be closed the day I was renting, so I went up the day before to make sure I wouldn’t have any issues, and they even pointed out the truck to me and I asked if the blankets and dolly would be on the truck. Guy behind the counter said yes. Next morning when I get there, no blankets or dolly. Inside the storefront I can see stacks and stacks of blankets. I finally made contact with the leasing company through Facebook messenger, only to have them tell me that basically no one was willing to come open the door for me so I could get what I needed since they didn’t. Gave me a U-Haul number to call. Called that number, and the representative told me I would have to drive 3 hrs to get the things I needed, which of course was not feasible. Then she chastised me for moving on a Sunday, “you know we always say Sunday is the worst day to move”. Yes, that’s why I took extra steps to make sure I wouldn’t have any issues and it happened anyways. Worst of all, it made made my rental cost twice as much. I had to make 2 trips because I was not able to load the truck properly, doubling the mileage and fuel. But don’t worry, I got refunded $27 for the blankets and dolly I didn’t get.. Very frustrating experience.
