UA Local 467 Plumbers, Steamfitters, and Refrigeration Fitters was chartered in 1903. For over 100 years we've been protecting the health of our nation through our Plumbing, Pipefitting and HVAC Service work.
Our contractors employ the members of local 467 in many construction Industries. We work in the Heavy Industrial, Commercial and Residential Sectors. We also specialize in HVAC Service throughout San Mateo County, where cooling systems are vital to the economy.
Our members are required to graduate from the UA Internationals certified and accredited Joint Apprenticeship Training Program which produces the best Journeymen in the industry. This 5-year apprenticeship program which requires an apprentice to have over 10,000 hours of on-the-job training as well as over 1,200 hours of classroom education from certified instructors means that you have the most qualified workforce at your disposal.
Our workforce takes pride in partnering with our signatory contractors to deliver sophisticated piping systems to the end user which are so important to the infrastructure of our community.
We do it right the first time, so when Medical Providers in San Mateo County build new or expand existing facilities, they call on the skilled members of Local 467. The complicated medical gas installations are a vital piece of life saving equipment, along with equally important commodities such as steam systems, potable water systems, and comfort piping systems. These systems are necessary to support the facilities which ensures public safety and saves lives.

To train Apprentices to become the best Plumbing, Pipefitting, & HVAC mechanic Journeymen in the industry. Then, to provide those Journeymen, along with Apprentices, to Union Contractors throughout the Bay Area.
