Highly Recommend! We've been with UAI for years, even after moving out-of-state. Steve is very knowledgeable, and I still call him before making business structure decisions. Like many people, I run to the wire getting documents in for filing, and he's always accommodating and makes it happen.
I wouldn’t go back. He made a mistake on my taxes he entered my social security number incorrectly on my tax form and he won’t return my emails or other communications to fix HIS error. Worst accountant I’ve been to in the Dayton/Beavercreek area and has showed he doesn’t care about his clients. ***I finally received a response ONLY AFTER I posted the above review then the below response was written by the business owner. Clearly was done to save face. Customers beware
Updated Review: We were referred over by a coworker and I was finally was able to talk to Steve directly. He seemed really nice over the phone and was upfront about pricing. In comparison to other locations we’ve called, price is a little higher but I’ve read excellent reviews on this location. We will definitely keep UAI in mind for tax prep.
I have been working with UAI for about 5 years now and could not be happier. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is correct. I feel better knowing that my taxes are being done by a certified enrolled agent. I would strongly recommend Steve to anyone looking for a trustworthy dependable accountant.
He has a nice new office it's a co-op setting, so keeping overhead low! Very easy to work with, competent, and very reasonable rates. We've used this company to do our taxes and give tax- related advice for the past 12 years.
UAI just prepared our taxes and did a wonderful job. First off, I am not an accountant and they speak in normal-person-language. We had several complex issues to deal with. Steve presented us with our options, and what he recommended we do, he was easy to understand. I would recommend these guys to anyone, they do good work.
