I-House is a vibrant and engaging programming center and residential learning community of nearly 350 undergrad students, roughly half U.S. and half international, and 11 visiting scholars, representing nearly 45 countries. Through its programs, events and activities I-House brings together students, staff and community members from diverse cultures and backgrounds to promote international, multicultural and global awareness, understanding and citizenship in order to foster a more tolerant, sustainable and peaceful world.
The mission of I-House is to build community and promote international, multicultural and global awareness, understanding and citizenship to foster a more tolerant, sustainable and peaceful world.
I-House accomplishes its mission by collaborating with on and off-campus partners, through the programs, events and activities developed and implemented by the I-House Programs Office and the student staff and organizations it oversees, and through the engaging programs administered by Residential Life.
