I placed an order over the phone and when I got home it wasn’t what I asked for. If I’m paying 10 dollars for a blt on a bagel it should be pretty straightforward. The bacon was barely cooked and the bagel wasn’t toasted…. When I got there two people looked at me after I said Hi and didn’t say anything to me.
Looks like a Subway sandwich shop they converted into a bagel shop. Nothing like I expected. No charm, no character, they don’t even display the piles of cream cheese, instead they hide it all behind the counter. This represents how not to do a bagel shop. Disappointed
Their bagels are so good and I love their cream cheese !!
Was told by a friend this place was good so had to try and wow am I glad I did. Seriously the best bagel I ever had. I ordered a everything bagel toasted with jalapeño cream cheese. The bagel itself was delicious and had a light crunch which I love. The jalapeño cream cheese was so so good and it was a little spicy which I loved. Will definitely be back and excited to try the lunch sandwiches.
Got the bacon egg and cheese on a whole wheat. It was ok.
So the bagels are amazing, by far the best around. The staff is inconsistent and charges different prices daily. On Monday they charged me $6 for two bagels and a coffee, Tuesday the same order was $11. Steer clear of the breakfast sandwiches, the eggs are horrible. They are clearly microwaved, taste like rubber, and smell terrible. I sincerely hope they just start making fried eggs on a griddle for sandwiches!
The bagels are pretty good, but the orders are always messed up and the prices are very inconsistent. Every time I order a bagel, I ask for very little butter and I always receive a heavily-buttered bagel. The amount of butter on the bagel is ridiculous and more of a waste than anything. My mom has also ordered bagels with several toppings and had pieces missing. The bagel itself is also very expensive and changes prices which makes no sense. I was not very impressed with the bagel shop overall.
I order bagels monthly for morning meetings. Carey is amazing, he is always early 7:30 AM, the order is always correct and everything is fresh and well-presented. Thanks!
The bagel wasn’t bad but for the breakfast sandwiches they don’t use real egg and the bacon is microwaved. Tastes like a frozen sandwhich that was thrown in the microwave, pretty disappointing
This place is awful. Go to the Darien location. maybe they won’t scam there. They literally tried to charge me 25$ for 2 bagels with cream cheese & 1 water. Even for new canaan that is insanity & they had there prices online at 1.25$ a bagel not 10$.
