The University of Connecticut Historical Collection of Costumes and Textiles has over 8000 holdings, 3500 of which are garments. These donations have been given to the historical collection to be restored and maintained to become an educational resource. This goal will be accomplished through the Virtual Museum that we are working on at present. The Virtual Museum will provide the 360º images and historical descriptions of each garment. This museum will be great tool to share the history collection with a durability that the delicacy of the garments cannot.
