Ulistac is a 40 acre natural area in Santa Clara, CA. Volunteers are working to restore native California habitat. Open from Dawn until Dusk daily.
Ulistac Natural Area is 40 acres of open space in the City of Santa Clara. Surrounded by apartment and office buildings, it is amazing how peaceful Ulistac is! It's a great place to walk, run, and get in touch with nature. Dogs are welcome on a 6ft leash.
Since 2000, volunteers have been working to restore Ulistac from ex-golf course scrub land to a beautiful native California Habitat. In turn this has attracted lots of native wildlife. We still have many more years of work before the project is complete. In the meantime, please come and explore, enjoy what is there, and perhaps lend a hand in returning this to paradise.
Want to Volunteer at Ulistac? Come along to one of our regular work sessions. These are held on the First Saturday and Third Sunday of every month. Work hours are 9am - 12pm. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Bring water, any snacks you might want. Sunscreen and a hat are advised.
