I gave 1 star because I have to. I switched from sephora to ulta recently. Big mistake! I've spent about $600 in the last few weeks. I placed an order recently for delivery. Once I placed it I seen they canceled the items that weren't available for delivery instead of shipping them. I needed those items. I tried chatting but couldn't get a live person. It recommended text, so I opted for that. I got one text to initiate then no response. I called and sat on hold for 45 minutes to be told I should cancel the entire order and get reimbursed, so I did. I used a gift card that I had purchased .was told their "special " department would re load the $200 gift card within 48 hours. 2 weeks later I still don't have it. The customer service from Ulta is awful. Ulta STOLE money from me and did nothing to make it right. **update** An agent from Ulta text me back from my most recent text 2 days ago. They apologized for the delay and asked for my name etc. I've been waiting an hour and no further response. I guess the service still sucks.
Everything was okay until i had lost my wallet 10 minutes after it closed and the lady was rude, she rolled her eyes, gave us dirty looks, and most of the times i come here the workers are shady. Do better Ulta ……..if i got her name i would’ve reported her for her horrible service and makeup!
I hate to give somebody less than four or five stars, but I walked around that place for a long time, and no one even asked me if I needed anything! The perfume section was a total mess and everything looked a little bit dirty. I love Ulta, so I’m hoping they just had a really busy day and the staff didn’t have a chance to tidy it up.

The worst experience I've had in terms of hair services, I went for a keratin treatment and they almost left me bald, what an inept stylistI'll never go again, I don't recommend it at all, and apart from that the service is expensive, I paid for it they will leave me bald .I was confident because I lived in Ohio and the hairdressing services there are the best I have been able to receive, but here it was the opposite.
I bought my fav perfume. Versace crystal noir. 85.99 for 1.7 oz. Selling on the Versace site for 69.99 for 3.5 ozs. Not happy at all
If I could give this place a negative zero i would, this is a balayage their manager said, it’s not Even close. I went to 3 different Hair salon and they all said this is not a balayage, my skin was irritated from the bleach Or idk what the heck was happening to my neck. Instead of telling me I need to come back a few time. She told me I could come back one more time IF I WANT TOO. I spend A LOT of money at their store, but they don’t know how to be nice to customers who spend a lot money at their store like me., such a disappointment they tried fix the problem after the damage is done. don’t be rude in the first place, I’m a customers if I’m wrong then help me understand that I’m wrong, not give customers attitude. I walked out of their store literally crying, that is what Dislike about the store, but some of the girls that works there is really nice and very helpful, some are just want you to buy the stuff and get the heck out.
Worst experience I’ve ever had. We live an hour from ulta but it’s my birthday month so despite being 39 weeks pregnant I went in with my long list of items to get. I should have just stayed at home…the store was out of 7 items on my list and despite there being way more employees than I have ever seen on the sales floor, not one of them acknowledged me. One sales employee went out of her way to avoid walking down the isle I was in. As I went to check out with my one item the only one they had in stock and that I could find the cashier didn’t ask if I found anything ok just asked for my number. Then told me they were out of the birthday gift but could give me a random product. When my husband asked what the replacement would be she suggested we just come back next week when the actual birthday gift comes in shipment. I was to upset at the whole ordeal I just walked out. I thought of my my experience and decided to call and talk to the manager. What a waste of time! Just go to target or order online don't bother shopping here!!
Went in to buy things for my daughter for the this time for hair and facial products. Found the things I needed even though the person was unsure of the facial products to use. Than found some hair brushes and saw they were on sale turned out they were not even though the red and white sticker was in the exact spot of the item. Called to see if they could help was told no they could not do anything because my daughter already used the brushes because she was excited about it. This is the 2nd time with this store I may need to shop on Ulta online only. Sorry Ulta but you definitely disappointed me at this location.
