Visited a while ago with a friend to join her to shoot and exchange a gun. I never shot a gun before but I got a lot of help from your staff member Aryan. He was very kind and helped me with how to handle a gun safely. He also helped my friend with her gun exchange very smoothly. He is very knowledgeable with what he does and I appreciate that when I do something I’ve never done before. Thank you!
By far one of the better firing ranges I've been to in st louis/ st charles area. Very knowledgeable staff, I've talked with Aryan multiple times about various firearms that would be suitable for me. Wonderful range and amazing staff
Ultimate defense is a full service shooting range. We enjoy going there to practice shooting. They offer classes as well as gun sales too.
The range is nice to shoot at but the staff clearly have a complex about guns and act like chuds. I would avoid asking questions or you'll get someone who takes themselves too seriously.
Excellent firing range! Dean from Ultimate Defense was fabulous on instructing us ladies how to properly and safely handle firearms. His knowledge went above and beyond, and he was there for us every step of the way during our trip to the range! Cannot recommend Ultimate Defense enough - we will be back! Thanks Dean!!!
I have the gold membership. I've never had to wait for a lane. Everyone is so helpful and informative
Came in today and looked at firearms for my first concealed carry weapon. The crime coming out of Saint Louis City has me worried about carjackings. The staff were so nice and accommodating, they showed me many nice gun options that seemed fairly priced. The owner even came out and said hi to me. I signed up for a Platinum membership so I can keep taking their training courses and get better with my weapon.
I highly recommend Ultimate Defense! A very knowledgeable staff that really wants to help you. A wide range of classes so everyone can find the right fit. My daughter and I took the Ladies Night class with Josh, Brad and Nicole. We learned so much and I feel my confidence growing. I can't wait for my next class!
Great place to go shooting. Staff was friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. The lanes were clean and functional and they had quite a good selection of classes. Will definitely be back here!
I just moved to the area for work and wanted to get training on gun safety before I decide to get a protection weapon. I’ve never fired a gun before so I was pretty nervous when looking for the right place to learn. I took a leap and decided to join Ladies’ Night at Ultimate Defense. It was the best decision. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a group or with instructors as I did that night, not to mention around firearms. Everyone was friendly, understanding and helpful. I learned a lot and will be back to feel out different models before I settle down!
