The College Panhellenic Council is a women's organization that promotes the interest of the three nationally recognized sororities that make up our membership.
The College Panhellenic Council at UM-Dearborn represents the following chapters:
Alpha Mu, Delta Phi Epsilon -- www.dphie.org
Rho Beta, Phi Mu -- www.phimu.org
Zeta Omega, Phi Sigma Sigma -- www.phisigmasigma.org
Representatives of each chapter make up the executive board of the College Panhellenic Council, as well as the voting delegates. We come together to promote the values of philanthropy, sisterhood, academics and campus involvement, and to recruitment new members to our organizations.
Our mission is to ensure that each woman affiliated with the College Panhellenic Council has opportunities to grow and gain experience that will impact her life in a positive way. We strive to foster a bond of sisterhood across all chapters, while nurturing the individual goals and efforts of each individual chapter.
The Panhellenic Creed: We, as undergraduate members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities. We, as fraternity women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
