Umatilla Tribal Police

Just some civilian to civilian advice. Don't stop here for gas. Better watch out while going through this County in Pendleton. In fact I would avoid it altogether. The officers here must be pretty bored. I'll share my experience with you. My husband & I stopped to get gas in our truck. As we were pulling a camper across the country I noticed there was a Starbucks next door to the gas station and since the gas station didn't have any coffee available; I ran across the street to the Starbucks while ordering they just couldn't seem to understand that I wanted milk substitute with breve "Layman's terms" creamer instead of milk. which I would think all experienced Starbucks Baristas would understand! When all was said and done I got my coffee and my husband was kind enough to pull up to the Starbucks to pick me up. As I was walking to the truck an ultinimah Pendleton Oregon officer pulled up behind us and gave my husband a parking ticket for illegal parking. I don't know anyone else's opinion but my idea of parking would actually be "Parking"! Not pulling over to the side of the road to pick up your wife from the coffee shop next door. In all this to took less than 2 or 3 minutes after filling up with gas.
