Great local place for breakfast and lunch. I like a strong, dark roast coffee and was *not* disappointed. Breakfast egg sandwiches were delicious and the croissant was top notch. The staff were great and very helpful for out of towners. Definitely recommend! Food: 5/5
The chocolate almond croissant rocked my world. Very dense and gooey and delish. Super tastyFood: 5/5
Great place to eat a sandwich for lunch. Friendly cashier, quick service and good food. Outside patio seating with sun and shade . Really enjoyed our visit and will return for sure!Food: 5/5
Delicious savory pies and great service. Love their tea lattes as well. Pastries can be really good. The only issue here is consistency. Sometimes I'll get the same thing multiple days in a row and it tastes different. I really love this place so much. The food is wholesome and tasty. And they have sandwiches named after characters from The Fountainhead and other pieces of great literature :
A good option for some cafe style grub and drinks. It does have seasonal outdoor seating which can be pleasant. I can speak much for the service or quality of drinks other than the takeout sandwiches were decent.Recommended dishesThe Dominique Francon
Love their coffee. Wasn't too thrilled with their artichoke quiche. Tasted more like a pot pie. Breakfast sandwiches were great. Very accommodating when asked for a low carb breakfast.
Umpleby's serves, without question, extremely fresh and delicious sandwiches and salads daily. I am a regular, and each time I eat there, I am struck by how fresh and wonderful my breakfast, lunch or afternoon treat is. The produce and freshly made bread on-site couldn't be any fresher or tastier. The menu includes great vegetarian options hummus or grilled veggie w/curried mayo sandwiches/salads. The baked goods, coffees and teas are wide ranging and consistently high quality. Prices are spot on. I love it here. The casual, cozy vibe brings you back again and again. Vegetarian options: wonderful hummus and grilled veggie w/curried mayo sandwiches. Extremely fresh salads and usually one vegetarian and/or vegan soup in cooler months. Kid-friendliness: casual and flexible atmosphere and seating allow for any configuration and bustling atmosphere will allow families with busy children to do their best without feeling constrained :. Parking: parallel parking out front as well as parking lot along back of building pull in after bakery, on right, as you pass bakery on your right Dietary restrictions: owner/chefs can make adjustments regularly as needed
I got the portobello veggie sandwich here with curry mayo. I enjoyed it but I wished that it was on more substantial bread, it was a little soft for my taste!
Great spot for breakfast, lunch, or a mid-day snack. They have an awesome selection of breakfast sandwiches, and lunch soups, salads, and sandwiches. They even have a kids menu. They also have a wonderful selection of daily pastries and delicious coffee, espresso, and tea drinks. The indoor cafe is in a nice post & beam space, and the outdoor seating is delightful on a warm day. The staff is friendly and fast.
