I had the falafel . Was pretty good and I'd get it again.Food: 4/5
Lunch during midweek was Great. Nice server too. Food just right & Yummy milk shakes that the extra in the metal cup was served with the glass too!Food: 5/5
$41 for a mid omelette and crepes that are just thin pancakes with gross chocolate. How can you mess up an omelette that bad? It’s literally egg and cheese. The only thing partially edible is the grits. It’s a miracle that wasn’t messed up.Food: 1/5
Something change in this past 6 months food taste change ,I found hair in my grinder and in the other one the avocado taste rotten totally disgusting Vegetarian options: Them have enough to makes confortable every customer Dietary restrictions: I just told them to what I was alergic and them make my plate without it Parking: Clean and safe Kid-friendliness: It's roomy Wheelchair accessibility: Enough space for wheelchair between tables and boost area
Apparently the owner of this establishment is the worst type of businessman you can encounter - a cheapskate. First, if you want your basic eggs, toast and home fries, that’ll be $11, then if you want bacon, that’s an additional $6. Now, if that wasn’t enough, if you want any bread other than white toast, that’s an additional $1. See where I’m going? That’s indicative of a greedy, despicable human being. Secondly, he only employees two waitresses for a busy Sunday which results in about an hours wait from the time you’re seated till the time your food arrives. The only saving grace is the cook. Kudos to you young man! My food was very good and cooked as I asked. You deserve a better employer.
Paid 62 bucks for breakfast for two adults and two kids. Literally eggs and French toastkids split order and a waffle. For $62.00 I'd expect hot food, toast to actually be toasted, bathrooms to be clean and not to sit under an unlit lamp covered in dust. I guess that's what money buys you now.Food: 1/5
Placed a takeout order at the restaurant. Ordered cold lobster roll and 16 oz vegan chili Got home to find I had been given a hot lobster roll with fries. The roll and lobster was soaked in burnt butter and the fries were cooked in oil that clearly hadn’t been changed in a long time. The chili was uneditable. After trying 5 times to reach the restaurant I finally got through only to be told I could go back and get a redo. It was 8 o’clock at night and I live a half hour away. Tried going in person several days later and waited for the owner to come so I could resolve this. He never showed up and I am out the $40 I spent for our dinner that night. I will never go back and encourage others not to as well.
EDIT: Tried this place again this time ordering delivery to our home. THIS PLACE HAS TO BE A MONEY LAUNDERING FRONT! Seriously there is no way they should still be in business after the dinner we had tonight... HINT: Lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, onion, pickles are VEGAN. You can put them on an organic vegan deluxe burger and it will still be vegan. The fresh veggies that cost $5 were reheated frozen veggies that looked like they came from the just expired ultra cheap shelf in the back of Shop Rite. Ugggh... I gave this diner a second chance and they threw it away. I can say with 100% confidence that the MRE Tray Rations the Marine Corps served me in Afghanistan were better than this dinner... ---- OLDER REVIEW: I don’t normally dine at places with less than 4-4.5 star average reviews. I made an exception for this place though because it is so close to home and it has a vegan menu! When I went there for lunch there was 3 staff members working and one party. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was 3.5 stars but I bumped my review to 4 because they have organic/nonHFCS ketchup at every table and you can pay with your phone by QR code. I got the tempeh Ruben. The bread was lightly toasted so by the time I got to the second half it was a touch on the soggy side from the sauerkraut. It’s the only restaurant for miles around with an actual vegan menu. I want them to succeed I really do. Perhaps if they started cooking with local ingredients and added some color or pizazz to their plates… The restrooms are clean and well stocked. They have a/c but it was not running when I visited - just one small fan. I get it electricity is expensive and when you have 3 parties dining for lunch you gotta cut costs somewhere… I dig the interior of the restaurant. I could totally see Quentin Tarantino filming an epic movie scene in the vein of Reservoir Dogs in this establishment. I’ll be back - there is still several items I want to try.
First off the prices on my receipt didn't match the prices on the menu. Unacceptable. Secondly, some of the food was mediocre at best but the reuben was disgusting. Meat was tough and overcooked, the sauerkraut tasted like it was straight from the can. The steak sandwich looked like deli meat was used. Definitely not "steak". The service was very slow, and for being the only party in there, a 30 minute wait time for food I think is subpar. This is the place for you, if you like below average, over-priced food.
Ordered a tuna salad sandwich on rye bread. Was shocked when the bill came, charge 99 cents extra for rye bread. Will not be going back. How petty can you be. No other diner charges extra for type of bread on sandwich.Food: 4/5
