f you're craving authentic Italian seafood, look no further than Uncle Bacala's! This gem of a restaurant offers a delectable culinary experience with top-notch service, mouthwatering dishes, and a classic Italian ambiance. Upon arrival, we were greeted with good service and our orders were taken promptly. Though we did have to wait for a table despite our reservation, the staff made every effort to accommodate us quickly. ⏱ The decorations create a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional Italian eatery. Be aware that the tables are somewhat close together, adding to the intimate feel. If you prefer more space, simply request a booth when making your reservation. Now, let's talk about the food – it was absolutely unreal! I had the Baked Apple Salad, which is hands down one of the best salads I've ever had. My entree, the Broiled Salmon, was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend enjoyed the Almond-Crusted Sea Bass, which she couldn't stop raving about. Each dish was fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor! In summary, Uncle Bacala's is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable Italian seafood dining experience. With its exceptional service, intimate setting, and exquisite cuisine, you won't be disappointed!
It's a very nice restaurant with great food and amazing service. Stopped in today for the pre fixe lunch menu 22.99ppand it was well worth it. Started off with the mozzarella in carrozza ,then had the short ribs over polenta and then for dessert i selected the peach ravioli. Everything was 5 star. Quality food and service at a very fair price . Hard to find now a days . The kids ordered their pre fix kids menu for $19.99 penne Alla vodka and ravioli they were very happy. We ordered the pitcher of sangria which was very good. Overall it was an amazing experience . Waiter was quick , friendly and didn't rush us out. Keep up the great work. We will be back for more.
We have been dining at Uncle Bacala’s for 25 years. They always offer the same menu and the same cocktails, both of which are always absolutely delicious. Different specials for every day of the week, same attentive, personable service. The owner ? is always patrolling the kitchen and the seating area, greeting customers and solving any issues way before they can evolve into problems. We live in Brooklyn; there is no other restaurant for which we would make that drive. Lovely place.
Had Lunch with family 15 people, 5 Children and I can't say more about the quality service, food and ambiance. Barbara took care of us and was professional, and friendly. She was on top of everything and anticipated our next need. We had 5 kids in the party and the service was amazing. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. We highly recommend the restaurant and had an amazing time. Thank you Barbara!
A friendly Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The decor evokes memories of Little Italy. The filet mignon I ordered was cooked to perfection Medium Rare and served with a brown gravy. The calamari was fresh, crunchy on the outside, succulent on the inside.
We visit whenever we are in the area, always great food with excellent service. The ambience is wonderful, with semi-private and private heated tents available in the winter. First time back after a three month hiatus and let me tell you definitely worth the wait. Like many other dedicated patrons, we couldn’t wait to get back after their unfortunate kitchen fire that put them out of business for a brief period. Food is extraordinary as ever and I couldn’t be happier for them to be back in business.
We entered the restaurant and Peter HOwner manager greeted us very warmly and seated us. Our waitress was a very lovely lady named Melissa who could not do enough to make our dining experience outstanding. Food was of course was and always amazing.Food: 5/5
Very tasty authentic Italian food and nice place is amazing but it does get crowded and when there is wait it is about 30mins ,though the service is amazing.Food: 4/5
Indoor seating very relaxed .Private party spots outdoors . The service was very good .I tried several plates and was satisfied . Came for my brother's wedding reception , they took care of us like royalty.
