Wow! I normally don't leave saying how good the food was, but I caught myself saying it multiple times. I had the Salmon burger the way it comes and . Also, don't judge the sweet potato fries by the way they look in the pictures. Those were some of the best tasting sweet potato fires that I ever had. My friend had the Fun guy burger and she liked it very much. This place has a nice atmosphere and they had an outdoor area but we didn't get to see it. We are definitely going back to try the rest of the food and play some cornhole outside. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to try. Bravo Uncle Chops!!!!
Oh my lawwwwd, this place has the best onion rings! And they’re only $6! My husband got the boss hog burger and it was so delicious as well and came with some nice crispy red potatoes, $17. The Baja taco was not as great as the rest of the food but it was still good. $6. Completely worth it! And the staff were very sweet!
I had the "Fun Guy" burger and I would have to say it's probably the best burger I have ever had! To top it off the bun was delicious and the wedge fries were special as well. You can't go wrong when eating it Uncle Chops!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Nice place inside and out. Order food and eat inside or outside. Had the fun guy burger was good but felt it needed a sauce patty was a bit lean lack some fat. Keto salmon was on point matched well with the sides. Definitely will go back to try something new.
Went with friends and we all enjoyed the food immensely! Ordered the Fun Guy play on the word 'fungi' for the mushrooms on the burger, the Too the Point burger and two Boss Hogs. There was nothing left to take home! The papas ricas were excellent, especially with the aioli sauce, which we ordered on the side but would not hesitate to have all our food drenched in the stuff! This place has a high rating for a reason. Clean, interesting building, yard with games, food trucks and we hear, a pizza oven in the works! Very friendly and helpful staff. Love this restaurant!
Got the basic burger; however, it’s anything but basic. I would recommend upgrading it with all the trimmings. 100% brisket burger on a soft and delicious bun. All that being said, the service was the real star of the joint. We probably had 5 or 6 people check on us from the waitress to the chef/ owner. A necessary stop for any burger or brisket fan.
This place did not disappoint! The entire staff are so friendly and welcoming. The service was amazing and the food... stop it! I have never had a burger that did not require condiments. Juicy, well seasoned, presented beautifully. kiss to the owner and team! I'll definitely be coming back before my flight home!
This is a hidden gem in Weslaco. I'm new to the food truck concept, so at first I thought it was an little strange. The food is prepared outside in the food trucks and there is seating inside and outside. The orders are either placed inside with a staff member, or at the truck. I must say that the quality of the food rivals high end restaurants. The keto salmon salad was soooooo good. And my wife said that the Fun Guy burger was one of the best burgers she ever had. Definitely will return to try their other dishes. Just fyi, soda drinks are served in a can which was kind of a bummer, but I got over it after receiving the food.
Such a wonderful burger place. They have the best customer service of any place I have ever been, and their burgers are out of this world. I like the “To The Point” burger with all the vegetables on it. I’m so glad this place is here in weslaco. It’s a little pricey but so is everything nowadays.
Staff was immediately attentive. Place was fairly clean considering a rush had just cleared out. Chris introduced himself right away stating he was one of the grillers but, acted and seemed more of an owner type. Either way, was very hospitable. There was even a great MOTU section collection that I have myself so that was satisfying and nostalgic to see. But the food... Was great! Awesome local taste and very generous portion for the price. I would definitely come back and try the other menu items as they all looked very enticing! I had taken my order to go but would love to sit in and examine the atmosphere next visit. Plus they had a small bar. Very nice spot
