Underwood Dental Lab is a family-owned dental prosthetics lab in Joplin, Missouri, owned and operated by Randy and Caroline Underwood since 2004.
Our mission at Underwood Dental Lab is to provide our doctors with excellent service, using cost-effective means with minimal turnaround. We highly value our doctors and their staff, and we work hard to make it show.
As a full-service dental lab, we can meet any of our clients' manufacturing needs. We even offer in-office training for everything from infection control to impression and model-pouring procedures.
At Underwood Dental Lab, every restoration is hand-crafted in-house by our skilled technicians. All repairs, including those that require welding, are completed in-house, saving you and your patient valuable time and money.
Our clients enjoy same-day rush service for most reline and repair cases. Just contact us by 9:30am to request rush service, and we will have your case returned as early as 4:00pm. See our turnaround schedule for details.
Some cases, such as cast partials, custom waxing, casting, and welding, do require more time. However, from one clasp to an entire saddle, we can have these cases back to you in a matter of days, as opposed to the weeks it might take other labs.
Our Underwood Dental Lab couriers help ensure timely delivery for local clients. Simply contact us for pickups, and let us know if the case is time sensitive or will require a same-day return.
We also offer next-day shipping though UPS. Contact us to request next-day shipping, and we'll send you a label.
Walk-in Services
We offer a same day walk-in service for cases requiring basic repair needs (for example, fracture or denture tooth loss). As long as no impression is required, cases can be completed in a few hours. Contact us for details.
