SPRING 2017: Wednesdays at 6:00 pm in BCKM 120
The University of New Haven Fire Science Club is a student run organization that is dedicated to promoting fire safety education to students and community members as well as providing a place for fire service members to share and gain knowledge and promote camaraderie in the fire service. The club annually hosts activities for students during Fire Prevention Week, Alcohol Awareness Week, and Arson Awareness Week. The club selects a few students each year to travel to the Center for Campus Fire Safety's Fire Safety Forum, and the Congressional Fire Service Institute Seminars and Dinner with a faculty and graduate adviser. In addition to these events, the Club also hosts the annual Fire Science Club Banquet every spring, as well as BBQs and socials throughout the year.
Duty First, Safety Always.
