Union Street Bakery

This is one of my husband's favorite places to eat when we're at the Public Market. The prices are reasonable. The food is good. There isn't usually a long wait for the food. There's always a good crowd. They have tables to eat at inside of the bakery and outside.

This bakery is the best kept secret in Rochester. Excellent for breakfast, coffee is $1.00, free refills, and they have breakfast pizza. They have wonderful breads, try the cinnamon bread, you'll love it. We get all our bread and rolls there. Nice, friendly staff too.

Always friendly staff. Great bread with no preservatives. I love the discount, day-old rack for toast and making moly own bread crumbs and croutons. Good cup of coffee forv$1, and their breakfast sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies are big enough to share

Bread is fantastic. Been going there nearly every Saturday for 8 years. Breakfast sandwiches are the best around, and sitting around chatting people up has never been easier.

If I could give this place a BIG FAT ZERO, I would. I called this morning to order two breakfast sandwiches and the woman who answered the phone was the RUDEST person. I'm sorry that you work at bakery and I was only trying to bring business to your establishment. So much for hospitality. NEVER again will I step foot in your bakery, and given how frequently I buy from there when I go to the public market, it really is YOUR LOSS.

Best damn bakery in town! I won't go to any other bakery because they don't have that family feel and they don't have good prices like Union Street Bakery. It's right in the market, has bottomless coffee, baked goods that concur with the season or holiday we're in. They service most of the local sub shops with freshed baked hogies on a daily basis. There's always a musician playing a sweet guitar at the entrance on warmer days. It's a sweet escape from the world to me and always has been. Love it!!

Absolutely love this place! Best breakfast sandwich around. A must see after a day at the market!
