Who ever made the last day of open enrollment the day after Thanksgiving deserves to be fired. Needed help and couldn't because they were all off. Then they want to not cover a single thing. I am so furious and wish I could give them all the pain my severe three underbite has caused me my entire life and the worse pain I have now. Truly scum of a company
United Healthcare is the worst. They constantly find reasons to skip out on paying for things. Right now they are having an issue with denying pharmacy claims and because of this I haven’t been able to take my meds since last week. Absolutely the worst.
Needed paperwork sent to me and not only did it take them over a month and two phone calls requesting the paperwork but when it finally came they somehow managed to put the completely wrong last name "Black". I will say that when I requested to speak to a supervisor, she was very helpful but by then the damage was already done as it prevented me from having health care for several months.
They keep calling my work phone line asking for a Woman's name that I've never heard of. I've told them multiple times to take my number off their list and yet they still call asking for this woman. Clear this business is unorganized if they can't do something as simple as to stop calling an unrelated phone number asking the same thing each time.
My wife's company switched from United to you UMR, which is some kind of a subsidiary of United, one administered by Quantum health. I had been getting intravenous infusions of immunoglobulin for 14 years, which kept me fully functional. After the switch, UMR said they were unnecessary and refused to cover them. Also, wisdom tooth extraction for my kids turned out to be barely covered. What would have cost in the hundreds last year will now cost several thousand. On top of all of that, the provider network information is wildly inaccurate. To all HR administrators, please do the right thing by your employees and steer clear of this company.

Terrible customer service line, we had a simple question about a bill. Called them and waited FOREVER then got bounced from person to person with no answer, finally hung up after waiting 45 min. which is probably what they wanted us to do. Avoid United HealthCare if at all possible.
absolutely awful in every single way possible. Can't get approved for routine scans without hundreds of hurdles and possibly rejected, can get opioids approved in a heart beat. It's clear what's going on.
