yes, the prices are not so bad, but the service in the 2 times that I have come has been terrible. I came to rent a simple ladder and I had to wait 35 minutes for them to serve me, and it wasn't that there were so many customers, it was because the person who was going to give me the ladder still hadn't arrived.
Received worst customer service. As a company owner for over 13 years I've never felt more disrespected in my life. Treated like a kid, no questions answered. Relieved attitude the whole time from front desk and blonde lady in the back. Really disappointed in you Rentals. " - my boss

I ordered a very expensive $3000 utility chainsaw. Because I thought it would be faster through my local dealer. Told them my business was in pipeline, especially water mains of all sorts. That's what I use the saw for. I received it, only to find out they gave me the wrong chain. They gave me a chain to cut concrete, not pipe ductile. Now I have to go and purchase the correct chain and guidebar, which are not cheap 600-1000. Very disappointed.
Charged Me $800. for a rental they DIDN'T HAVE! WOW, Can't figure out You Don't have something in stock BEFORE You charge somebody's card? NOW, I CAN'T even go rent from somewhere else until they reverse the charge. Common sense, ain't so common & neither is customer service! Way cheaper & better rental companys out there! Won't be back again.
Well needed a ground compactor to finish up some digging that had to be done in my back yard. Went to united rentals, and sure enough they had what I needed. I renteded for half a day, wich by the way was enough time to complete the task. Ok, so they NEVER warned me how very heavy the piece of equipment was, they loaded it on my truck by using a fork lift, and I was on my way home, only then I realized, how Im I gonna get this thing down to the ground, somehow I was able to do it. Well, once I finished the job, the questinon was, how am I going to lift this very heavy machine back on the bed of my truck, Truth is I couldnt, so I called them to ask if they could come and pick it up, and yes they say, but it would cost me 150.00 and I only live 1 half a mile from them. I could not afford to pay that much money to them, so somehow with the help of one of my neighbors was able to load it up and return it back to them. I wish they woulded warned me, if I knew that lifting up would be back breaking work, and to make sure that I knew of a safe way of doing it. So I would suggest to them, EDUCATE do it yourselfes and warn them properly about risks of taking home heavy equipment that they jad never had a chance to use before. At the end it was all good, my sore back was back to normal in a couple of days rest.

Service is great. Delivered on time and equipment was well maintained. The only bad part was the cost to deliver the equipment..... $ 300.00 seems a bit excessive
